This pole is one of the best poles I have ever bought! It is smooth the line is strong it doesn’t tangle. It is just beautiful. Perfect for a lure.

I’m going to give it 3 stars for now until it’s actually used then I’ll update the review. Read entire review.The wife wanted this because it all “matched” and I’d like her to get more involved in fishing as it’s something I’ve always enjoyed since I was a kid and still to this day even if nothing is caught it’s still a good day. My first thoughts is that the reel has some flex to it, the bail seems to do what it supposed to for now aswell as the anti reverse. The rod blank is looking so so by that I mean it’s a bit on the thin side, the guides look well enough and should be fine. THIS is just a first glance observation when I checked it out after I got home from a fishing trip so take it with a grain of salt. Well see how it holds up to some abuse and some fish.Update: I’ll just go ahead an confirm and agree with the others that the reel is absolutely a turd. One minute it’ll reel in the next it won’t.... so it’s a good thing I have plenty of spinning reels laying around. So far the wife’s caught some panfish and a large mouth on it and done some trout fishing. Hadn’t my wife been set on this due to the color I would have put her a combo together myself or bought a lower end lews or Abu combo For around the same money.Short and sweet the rod blanks awful thin especially the tip it does cast well, reel seats good enough and it has held up thus far. The reel and pre spoiled line aren’t worth a dollar though just another parts reel now. It’s staying at 3 stars and that’s being nice.

I bought these poles for the younger kids fishing on my boat but the combo is great foe catching bass that a lot of adults are picking the poles to fish with. Just remember it is 10# test set up. I would buy again.

Light weight pole and nice design. Only problem is the line started tangling after about the second use catching small fish. Had to change to heavier line.

Love the new fishing pole but it doesn’t catch fish! Lol
