Wow Hits 2017

We always look forward to autumn for lots of reasons... leaves changing colors, the weather cooling off... and one of those reasons in the last few years has become the release of the new WOW collection. We just recently started to burn out WOW Hits 2016 [2 CD][Deluxe Edition] after many, many rotations in our house. We still put the older versions on from time to time (along with WOW Worship) but it's always nice to have a new version to crank up in the morning while we're getting ready for work.This new set is phenomenal, with 39 songs on the Deluxe Edition, each disc is well over an hour long and has a huge replay factor. This set mixes a lot of the songs that are currently in rotation on CCM radio stations like the latest songs from Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Big Daddy Weave, Jonny Diaz, Lauren Daigle, Hawk Nelson and Jeremy Camp - and mixes it with some deeper tracks that are just as great but don't get quite as much airplay... yet. Some standouts are NEEDTOBREATHE's new single Happiness, Chainbreaker by Zach Williams, Lift Your Head Weary Sinner by Crowder and Your Words by Third Day.It's always fun to see how some of the tracks included end up blowing up later in the year and I'm sure many of these will do that. It's also great how these collections cover a wide range of styles, yet still seem to flow and work as a set of songs. Whenever we get a little tired of hearing these songs in the same order, we just put these discs on random and it makes it fresh again.For sheer variety and quality of music, it's hard to beat these WOW Hits collections. The overall quality and impressiveness of contemporary Christian music over the past decade has improved in leaps and bounds. These songs are every bit as good and even better than "secular" popular music. The depth of lyrical content, musical talent, polished production values and inventiveness by all parties involved is impressive, to say the least. It's an exciting time for Christian music and a really fun time for fans of the genre. This WOW 2017 edition is a solid representation of that.We do wish that this collection has AutoRip included but even without that it is a solid purchase. We don't mind ripping and uploading ourselves. You won't find a more extensive, genre-ranging and fun collection than this.

I have every WOW DVD since the first one came out in 1998. I still listen to the ones that are 20 years old. There is not one bad song on every CD. They have chosen the very best Christian songs of each year. I wouldn't hesitte to purchase all of them or one of them!!

Love this album. At the beginning I was only interested in the artists and songs I already knew but I've really gotten to love some of the other artists and songs on these cd's. I just gave up satellite radio in my car and I am fortunate to have a cd player in my car. This is a great album to listen to when driving!! Some are uplifting, some just rock! So good.

This is a wonderful praise and worship CD. I listen to it everyday, home and while driving. The songs on CD one are my favorites, as they remind me that I serve a loving God and He does not leave me alone. The Lord is still on the throne and want us to rest while He is holding us. Jesus finished everything while on the cross, so if I maintain faith it pleases Him. He is a good good Father.

Deluxe Edition! Has some great songs on it—some I didn’t like as much but this is my favorite type of music, though I do like hymns as well, and there are some awesome songs that everyone will like. Definitely recommend!

I buy these for my Mom's birthday every year (for about the last 20 years). Somehow, I missed this year, so I'm catching up. I don't listen to them, but she enjoys them and says she enjoys this one.

Awesome worship cd

This is my favourite to play in the car on long trips, good and loud, so I can sing along! But other people hear it and want to borrow it, so it makes a good gift

I needed this CD in my life. Between the two CDs I'm in bliss everytime I'm in the car. Fast, loud, slow, sweet, all the songs a person needs are there!

This is brilliant. I have listened to it over and over. The songs are so current and 'speak' to me on a lot of levels.
