Excellent tech support. Had an electrician install who also found technical support excellent. What I would have liked is visual status of my six marine battery status which is not available with the package unless you purchase additional products. The product came with the shipping box pretty well damaged so if you purchase be aware of the possibility of damage to the device. The registration for warranty coverage did not work so if may be a work around if you find the same.

He comprado otros inveters antes y ninguno se compara a este, no solo es evidente la calidad de toda la estructura, incluyendo la electrónica, también sorprende el acabado y la cantidad de funciones que brinda para todo tipo de necesidad.En lo personal lo utilizo como UPS para mi estación de PC ya que lo tengo conectado a una batería de 80 amperes y a la corriente AC, por lo que mantiene cargada la batería cuando hay luz de la CFE y cuando se va la luz cambia a modalidad inverter sin que la PC se apague o detecte el cambio de fuente.Fantastico, estoy seguro que si tiene todo lo que te esperas si lo necesitas para tu instalación solar energy o si simplemente lo utilizas como UPS como yo.Bendiciones!

I bought this product in July of 2019, and immediately installed it in a Sprinter conversion. For the next 13 months, it served well enough as my AC power supply and shore power input, and it seemed to jive well with the other Renogy components (SCC, batteries, and panels). This thing gets 1 star because nearly as soon as the warranty expired, it began throwing an overload warning the moment it was turned on, after which 10-15 seconds it would shut itself off; placing the unit in power saver mode avoided the alarm but was unable to provide a charge to anything plugged into my outlets. After triple checking my wiring and connections, I determined the unit had to be the issue. It took me several weeks to get through to Renogy customer support, and they only responded to me after I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.They were extremely unhelpful, essentially telling me “yep, it’s broken alright.” They refused to replace it because it was out of warranty and also refused to fix it, due to the ultra-lame excuse that it is too close to Christmas? Whatever that means. In compensation, they offered me 20% off another piece of junk, should I choose to buy from them again.This company makes expensive off-grid products that appear to function for as long as the warranty dictates, and then when you need help from them you are left high and dry. Such a shame, because the world needs reputable companies making off-grid solutions affordable to the average, DIY- interested consumer.Unfortunately, Renogy isn’t that.

Renogy 1000Watt 12V DC to 120V AC Pure Sine Wave Inverter ChargerEleven months of ownership, The unit worked for couple of months and then stopped charging the battery and powering the load using AC power.. The Renogy customer service is very nice but they do not deliver on their promises. First after explaining all the problems I have and following all the troubleshooting steps for 2 hours, I was told someone will send an email with instructions what to do. Two weeks later after no email has been received, I went through the same 2 hour process and was told that someone will call me with instructions. Couple of days later I received an email saying:"Because we cannot find the tracking number you provided, we cannot refund you. We suggest that you return this product to Amazon, and Amazon will refund the money to you directly. If you still need this product, you can choose to buy a new one."Well that is very nice, however the Amazon 30 days return period is long expired and it becomes catch 22. Moreover the price I paid a year ago is 200 dollars lower than todays price. I wouldn't buy a Renogy product again, just because their customer service.

Have been running this 3k inverter for a few months now nonstop. 2 renogy 40mppts on a bank of 8 100ah marine deep cycle group 31 lead acid batteries, 8 100w renogy panels. Runs a full size refrigerator non stop will run microwave tv and whatever else no problem. Even runs a coleman mach 15 ac with no issue just don't use microwave at the same time as ac. Have seen many bad reviews for this unit but I've had no problems. Don't know about customer support as I've had no problems and if I did I would likely just open it up and fix it myself or replace it.Plan to add 5 more batteries to the system and one more charge controller. Also a smaller inverter to run the refrigerator so I can shut this one off as I don't need as much as it capable of at all times and would like to cut down the idle consumption.It's not loud but does have a fan that comes on now and then but not all the time. One thing I would like to see is a removable dust filter for the air cooling on it.The screen is small but I don't look at it much.Also have the inverter wired to an extension cord for shore power if I get a few days of clouds it's run to a 3600w Westinghouse generator which barely notices the inverter charging its batteries off it.UpdateFirst purchased Aug 9 2022. This is my full time power inverter still going strong with no issues as of junk 13 2024.Did add a residential refrigerator and it isn't quite enough to run the ac in my rv and kick on the fridge so adding another renogy inverter. Everything still working as it should no complaints. Not it's fault I ask so much of it.
