Good but simple
Brought this as I'm on the 18 volt platform and thought I would make use of my spare battery, I really like compact inspection/ area lights for plumbing so at the price point I thought I would give this a go.I already own the Ryobi and Makita inspection lights so in comparison to them, this Milwaukee is probably the most ergonomic to hold & most robustly built but has very limited use with the lamp only being able to pivot upon its verticle opening hinge about 45° from straight up to straight ahead, has one light setting that lights a circular area with the work light being dimmer then the ryobi and the makita(although I prefer the soft glow as suppose to the blinding white of stronger lights and can be replaced) and has a fold out fixed plastic hook in the handle, which again, because it's fixed in one direction limits its usefulness. If your on the Milwaukee platform and want a basic supplementary work light, this wont disappoint but there are much better, versatile and much more feature packed lights at a even cheaper price point such as the Nebo tino and workbright etc.

Works well
The torch was a good price. Purchased due to the dewalt one being twice the price at the moment. It works very well, the rubber button is well sealed but stiff. Nice that it’s LED light but not as bright as others I have used. The adjustable head works well..Overall it’s is a good value torch as long as you already have the rechargeable batteries at hand..

Yet another cool piece of kit from Milwaukee
In a nutshell the ergonomic design and efficacy of this torch matches it's aesthetic appeal. It is a really Coll looking piece of kit. It's bright illumination is impressive and the swivel head for use when standing on a workbench is a master stroke. It also uses the same battery as my other Milwaukee hand tools. It just exudes quality. So, it may not be the cheapest option, but in view of the quality I think it represents really good value for money. Basically you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend.

Ok but not great value
Not a bad torch but not great value or indeed not very bright compared to others on the market. For me I had other tools so bought this as I already had the suitable battery. Would be good for walking the dogs or for other diy situations but for close up mechanical work there is better on the market for much less

Very good if you already own Milwaukee batteries
My main reason for purchasing this torch was to make use of the high quality Milwaukee Li batteries, which I already have and charge quickly. With the batteries sattached the unit is base heavy and therefore quite stable. The beam can be rotated up and down, and side to side by rotating the heavy base on a flat surface. The beam is quite bright, but there is no zoom which would make it even better.I bought this on sale, so it was a good deal, but not worth the full ticket price in my opinion.
