Can this 50wt be used for machine embroidery free standing lace?

I have used 50 and 60 wt thread for free standing lace. I see no reason why this could not be used for FSL.

Where is this thread made?

The spool says Greece but from the name I would have guessed Germany.

Is this thread on a spool (same spool as 800 M length) or cone?

This thread is on a cone. I bought a cone spool holder at Joann's.

Yes it is 50 wt. Thread. I use it for piecing and quilting---the only one I use!!
