This table took about 10 minutes to assemble. The top wooden piece is a single piece - it's three boards adhered together. The metal pieces are hollow, square metal tubing that are welded firmly to their shape. The bottom shelf is a single piece of wood. The screw-holes are metal anchors in the wood so I expect the holes not to wear out/strip if I need to disassemble it/re-assemble it in the future. In all, the package comes with 2 pieces of wood and 2 pieces of metal and some screws. Simple.The only part of this that was mildly unpleasant was the odor of the stain on the wood. There is a chemical smell that is a little strong out of the box. It's not an odor I notice now that its assembled and I've thrown away the box.

I would give this 5 stars but the stain color discrepancy was significant. I had ordered one and loved the product. I decided I needed another. I was shocked at the discrepancy. I emailed the company. They were not helpful stating there would be variations in the stain. I understand this but this was big. Light to dark. I ended up ordering another and picking the two closest in color. Amazon refunded my account. But I still had to purchase another to get a better match. I am happy but disappointed I had to go through the extra steps.

I wanted a study rustic wood coffee table and end table that would last. Was willing to pay extra for the larger coffee table and "matching" end table to get quality. The coffee table came in first. It is sturdy and I did expect rustic and imperfections. I did not expect to get splinters every time i accidentally brush against it, but that's the case. I took it as a lesson on buying furniture on the internet and awaited the end table. It came in and aside from missing a foot it also did not match the coffee table AT ALL. Figuring it had somehow missed the staining process and wanting all feet, I exchanged it for a different one that also didn't match AT ALL. I was ready for some slight variation, but these end tables look nothing like the advertised pictures or the coffee table. Amazon was great about the end table returns, but now I have an 80 lb coffee table that I can't return (already disposed of the packaging) and have to try to find a "matching" end table from another manufacturer.

Good design, appearance and size.Just note that this is made out of reclaimed wood and some of the wood pieces may have imperfections.You may also notice that the surface is not flat as one piece of wood may be slightly higher.However if you like solid wood, this would be a good addition to your furniture.Comes packaged very well and should arrive safe.
