We Want What We Want: Stories

Absorbing and poignant
A collection of brilliant stories, witty, funny, poignant, and ironic, as other reviewers have said, and about desire, as the title says, and about the "ethics of caretaking," as Ohlin said in her "Rumpus" interview. An absorbing book that stays with you.

Another gem from Alix Ohlin
In my opinion, Ohlin is the best short story writer out of Canada since Alice Munro. WWWWW easily lives up to the high standards set by her previous novels and short story collections. A pleasure to read and I love how much humour can be found sprinkled throughout the stories. Already can't wait until her next one!

New Collection by a Favorite Writer
I devoured this collection and couldn't stop reading. These stories are sometimes sad, sometimes funny and always smart.
