New 27 cm. uzushio yanagi from Sakai Takayuki. The Yasuki white steel blade is made by alternately sandwiching 8 layers of steel with 8 layers of iron creating a beautiful pattern. The handle is wooden with a water buffalo horn bolster.(Note: color of bolster may vary.)This knife is not stainless steel and must be cared for properly to prevent staining.
