BE PATIENT - IT’S WORTH IT! WORKS!!! I absolutely LOVE this thing. I have cervical bone spurs, and cervical disc bulge at C3-C4, pressing on nerves that run down to my right hand, and incredibly tight neck muscles and traps. During the pandemic lockdown my pain and numbness was the worst. I was working a stressful job and getting little sleep. My right arm was weaker than the left, and my right hand would be numb for 30 minutes after waking up each morning. I was scared. The MRI showed the physical issues above; the doctor recommended a steroid shot and said I may need surgery one day. I put off the steroid shot, figuring I should try physical therapy first. I also completed my contract, got a less stressful job, and started sleeping more. I tried stretched but they were painful, and sometimes seem to make things worse. I don’t think I was doing them right. But when I started using this device, I couldn’t BELIEVE how effective it was. Every time I use this regularly, it’s like I’m buying myself days or weeks of pain relief. AND extra mobility— I can twist to look behind when backing up my car without stabbing pain now. IMPORTANT TIP: when I first got it, it hurt a lot to relax my neck in that position. My neck was so tight it felt like it was made of hot piano wires that were about to explode. No joke. So I would only stretch on the floor with it for 30 seconds, twice a day. Then I gradually increased to a minute, once or twice a day. Another review here helped - it suggested to breathe slow and deep, gentling letting go, let gravity do the work, as you are able to tolerate it. Eventually I would put headphones in, choose one relaxing song that was about three minutes long, and use that as my timer. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now, and my necks so much better that I only need it 1-2x per week now, for about 3 minutes. I’m almost convinced that all I needed was gentle, gradual, decompression, not surgery and steroid shots. Anyway, time will tell. For now, I’m sticking to this routine, and recommend it to anyone with neck and upper back pain. Thank you for making this stretcher!!

At first I'll admit, I was skeptical. But I was also desperate, so I gave it a shot. And so I began using it, following the instructions carefully. Initially I found it horrible - laying on it was uncomfortable, and sitting up was disorienting. I'd immediately get dizzy, and although the muscles in my neck would feel more relaxed, it would take me a few minutes to regain my bearings. However, after continued (if apprehensive) use for about a week, the dizziness stopped and my neck continued to feel better and better. I've even felt my neck "click" while I'm laying on this thing. It's sturdy and easy to use, and has become part of my nightly routine!

This is a fine product but fair warning, if you use the more aggressive side, be careful. Both my husband and I purchased one and used it for 5-10 minutes and both had jacked necks for a couple weeks. Take a few minutes to read the short instructions. The non-ramp side aligned our cervical vertebrae just fine. The material has practically no padding. Just be careful.

I had a neck injury when we were rear ended by a semi truck on a mountain pass in an unseasonal snow blizzard in 2024. The truck was going 70 mph. We had slowed down to 25 mph due to the dangerous driving conditions. We were able to walk away from the accident without major injury, thanks to our Volvo XC60 suv. The car sustained extensive damage. My neck was bothering me for months so I saw this device and bought it. What a difference it has made. I had a painful catch in my neck when bending forward. This neck stretcher relieves the pressure and pain. I now use it occasionally and have maintained an almost pain free existence for two years. I will pull the neck stretcher out and do three 10 minute sessions with it over two or three days when the pain flares up and this handles the situation nicely. I purchased this device about two months ago to correct my posture, which was contributing to problems with my shoulder. Initially I found it very helpful. It was comfortable to use and I noticed improvement in my posture. However, about a month ago I stayed on it for a longer period of time, probably around 10-15". Since then I have been experiencing an increasing level of vertigo, to the point where I cannot walk without holding onto something or someone. After contacting a family member who is a chiropractor, I learned that this is due to a shift in the crystals in the ear canal and is correctable by using the "Epley maneuver." Hopefully that is the case. She also said that this device should only be used by someone who is receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. FOLLOW UP: I posted the above review on 9/4/23. The following day I was contacted by the seller apologizing for the difficulty I experienced and offering me a full refund. I was quite impressed by the professionalism of the seller in reaching out to me and offering a refund, which I had not even requested. However, I chose not to accept the offer because my problem occurred as the result of not using the product correctly per the instructions. My husband assisted me in performing the Epley Maneuver (we watched a YouTube video) and my vertigo rapidly improved. Once I resume chiropractic treament, I plan to beginning using this product again according to the recommended guidelines, as I was truly beginning to see benefits.

My chiropractor recommended a Cervical Denneroll 2 weeks ago for my problems in my neck which I have been dealing with for 18 years now, and within 2 days after receiving this and using this 2 times a day for 10 minutes, has taken away all my pain and discomfort in my neck, shoulders rib cage, I can raise my arms up with zero difficulty, can do yoga poses with zero discomfort or pain, can turn my head left to right with zero pain, and feel like a new person. The thickness of the material is perfect, the support your neck gets from the nap of the neck to the shoulders is amazing, the size of this device is perfect as well. I highly recommend this for anyone who suffers from neck pain, feel like a new person!

The big question on everyones mind is obviously, will this cure me? Well, that answer is going to depend. I have had it now for 30 days. For myself, I have 2 herniations at C4 and C5, as well as a growth spur between C4 and C5. The spur has been there since birth, and in such, I have never known what its like not to be in pain in my neck. So for that question, will it cure me?, the answer is NO. But!, that does not mean it does not help. If you are like myself and find your neck tightens to the point where you can’t “crack it” (which for those who do not know, the most recent medical discovery for that “crack” is just air molecules being released from the muscles. Not “bone” movement). For the unable to crack scenario, this DOES help. The way I have used it is by first using the “traction” side (the one without the bubbles). I have to use mine while being on an incline like a wedge pillow. I did not get the specific pressure needed when laying flat. Using that side for about 10 minutes, with stretching of the arms backwards; I found that my neck would crack on its own. Then I would switch it over to the bubble side. That seems to work on the lower neck muscles. I read that people have found it “painful”. I think that is probably a case by case basis and tolerance for pain. As I said, I am already used to the pain so I kind of “enjoy” the pressure that allows for the escape of the air that is causing the extra tightness. As I have been typing this, I have been on the “traction” side and my neck has cracked on its own about 5 times. Another thing I have found is that I have not had to do the extreme forced neck twist to get it to crack. It does move a bit easier to get that deep relief crack from the pressure buildup. So in short; if you are like me and have a medical condition that can never be repaired. And your neck is always going to get tense because of the pressure build. Then this device will definitely help you control it. It won’t cure you, but it has made life easier. For the rest of you with transient pain…. Well, congratulations on being normal. It must be nice, so good for you.

I was hesitant to buy based on some reviews that said that it hurt her neck. I also thought it could be just another stupid thing I don't end up using. However, I found that it does help my neck. I am a petite woman and the device still works, just don't rest on it longer than 5 minutes.

Its one of my best amazon purchases. The quality is so good . I have a cervical disc & TMJ and it relieved my neck pain in 10 mins. Totally recommend this product

This is a wonderful product. It worked well for my neck pain. The product quality is good and long lasting.

I gave this a go as I had been struggling with neck and upper back pain. At first it feels very large on the back of your neck but stick with it, once you fully relax your head, neck and shoulders it feels so good. Too good in fact. The instructions state that it should be used for around 10-15 minutes then removed, but honestly I almost fell asleep. I found it more comfortable than my pillow. I would sleep on this but the warnings say not to. Regardless, it's great for stretching out your neck and provides much needed relief.
