What Taller and Heavier People Need in a Rollator/Walker!
I am a 60 year-old woman who is 5'10" tall and who weighs 245 lbs. I needed a Rollator Walker following double knee surgery. Most Rollator Walkers I tried were simply too small. The handles, even adjusted as high as they would go, were still too low, causing me to need to hunch over when I walked with it. And I could barely fit on the seat if I needed to sit for a while.I ordered this Lumex Set n' Go Wide Rollator, Height-Adjustable Walker with Wide Seat, and it is PERFECT! The handles adjust tall enough that I do not have to hunch over to walk. The seat is nice and wide. The entire Rollator Walker is the most sturdy one I have ever encountered. It states that it is made for any person up to 350 lbs.Now if you are very tall, say taller than 6'2", this may still be too short for you, but for most people who are a bit taller and a bit heavier than the average person, this Lumex Rollator Walker is really perfect!

Lite weight walker packs a big punch!
Love the quiet silver color of my walker. This walker folds up and unfolds really nicely. Its light weight makes it easy to collapse and lift in and out of the car. The seat is comfortable to sit on and the black bag below the seat provides a nice storage space for my purse or additional items. This is my second purchase of this model. The first one lasted 6 years.

Love it!
I should qualify this by saying that I have purchased several Rollators before. Two for my wife, one for my son, and one for a friend. The last one I foolishly gave away after my wife died, never thinking that I might one day need it. But advancing osteo-arthritis in my knees, feet, and spine taught me better.I did all my homework, checking at least a dozen brands and models. I am large and heavy so I needed a wide seat and sturdy construction. This has a 15.75" wide seat. 7.5" wheels, and 350 pound capacity, which is more than ample. It does weigh 16 pounds, however, so if you don't need the extra capacity I would suggest a smaller unit. I also wanted the cloth carrying pouch. All of our previous Rollators had a wire basket which had to be removed in order to fold the unit. I can fold this one up with the carrier in place and pop it in the back of my Honda CR-V. Fits nicely.Installation was a snap. No tools needed. The instructions were very clear with large photos. My only complaint is that I never did figure out what or where the brake cable clip is. I finally tucked the cable behind the small knob above the locking knob. Maybe that's what they meant. It works anyway. One note: the brakes can be locked by pushing down on them (as with most Rollators) but you have to wait until you hear a small "click." Minor annoyance. Both the seat height and handle height are adjustable and the seat adjuster has markings in inches so you can be sure the first time around that it's set right. Great unit.

Good for tall &/or wide people who do not need the bariatric size, but with one design problem
I purchased this because of the wide seat and adjustable handle height AND leg height. It replaced one that was too short for me, even at its highest setting. The wider seat will be helpful in the winter when wearing bulky clothing. It is well-made and sturdy. Note: The brake cords kept catching on the outside knobs when it was collapsed, making it difficult to re-expand the rollator. That was easily remedied by moving the black plastic guide from the lower portion of the legs to the upper portion. The only 2 drawbacks that I have experienced are: 1-- The short posts in front of the front wheels (see photo) make it difficult to slide the rollator into my SUV. They catch on the bumper and I have to lift it. When you add that to the slightly extra weight, it makes it difficult (unsafe) for me to go places alone with this rollator. I have to revert to my smaller one. 2--It leaves little room to spare going through my home doorways. I frequently bump my hand on doorknobs and have scratched the woodwork in numerous places.

Best rollator for the Money
This is the second Lumex rollator that I have had. The first lasted several years but the brakes wore out and the seat was a little torn. I am a short, but very overweight, 82 year-old woman. I had a doctor prescription for a new walker but I needed one that had a wide seat and held a heavy weight. I learned that Medicare would not pay for a bariatric walker unless I was 300 or more pounds. I am not that weight, so I decided to purchase another Lumex on Amazon. It cost quite a bit more, $122.00 than it had years ago when it cost in the eighty dollar range, I believe. My husband assembled this one as he did my first one and did not have problems doing so. I am very happy with the comfort and thankfully for great brakes!

Enjoy having this. Love it. Freedom
This is a nice sturdy made Rollator. It has a nice sized seating area for my larger frame. It is narrower than most wide models I found. It is adjustable! So me at 5'3 & husband at 6'2 could both adjust for our individual needs. My feet are flat on the floor. I searched considerably before I made this purchase and I did not find any other model that had all the features in one package that was a reasonable price. These units clearly state they are not to be used for roll around seating. But this one can actually take some abuse. I couldn't walk any further so my husband pushed me in it as I sat all the way through the hospital. He said that at my weight 250+ we shouldn't do this, but it is needed at times. So he welded in a front support bar and put a hot water insulated foam roll on it. I never hit it walking ever. It is now solid enough that he wheels me as I sit when he wants to go further than I can manage.
