CONTOUR NEXT Blood Glucose Test Strips for Diabetes, 15 Count (Pack of 1)

I've been using these test strips for a couple of years, since being diagnosed as a type II diabetic. They have been reliable with only a few times of them not reading correctly. Well made and reliable. Also affordable and smaller than some test strips I have seen used by other glucose meters.

I buy this brand because the price is much better and as I’ve used them I’ve found out they are every bit as accurate as the more expensive brands.

I have monitored my blood sugar as a routine for years. I picked up the Contour system as I was transitioning to the Apple Health Kit eco system as the Contour system is Bluetooth capable and will automatically populate the Apple system with the readings. I have noticed that there will be random and very occasional "outlier" readings that don't fit with the established patterns of my readings over time. My numbers run in the 90's prior to eating and a 105-115 level at various times after eating and sometimes around the 120's if I have been enjoying rich food and alcohol which is not as a general rule. There have been random readings pop up with this Contour system in the 150's and it has been early in the day prior to taking on many calories. One can only wonder if there is some sort of deficiency with the system.

I use a Contour glucometer as an extra machine to test my blood sugar whenever I'm traveling. The test strips are easy to use and seem to be very accurate. AA++
