Very poor quality for price

I honestly don't see why this bag got such good reviews. The one I received was not the same colour as what was portrayed online. It was a hideous brown and it stunk. I like brown but not that shade. The bag seemed like it has been in stock for a long time as the leather was dry and hard to the point of sounding crackly. After examining every square inch of the bag I noticed a very very tiny crack at the front, barely noticeable but there. Even if I kept it and applied mink oil to soften it that small crack will just get bigger in time and I would have wasted 70 bucks. Not impressed. Returning it.

I am re-posting this review onNovember 26 2020 after using this bag for a few months:This is without a doubt a very well made and sturdy tote bag and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It is a simple, carry-all tote and if you appreciate a large, great quality leather tote, this is the bag for you. I use a removable liner (a large nylon tote bag) inside it to protect the unlined interior from stains etc. It is VERY REASONABLY PRICED for the quality and workmanship.I would definitely recommend this tote bag and purchase more in the future for myself and for gifts.

I really like the fact that the bag is simple and the quality is also good; it doesn't smell at all. However, it is way too big for me; nearly double the size I wanted and I assume I might have miscalculated the size converting to cm. I have to return it, sadly :(
