Excellent piece of scientific kit.

Excellent EMF meter. Measures all 3 types of EMF radiation. Good to have to check over your home and make changes as necessary to help reduce amounts your body receives. Excellent value for money. Meter goes off the scale when near the 4G/5G phone masts even when you are in your car!

Works well, not too difficult for an old lady to understand, set my mind at rest regarding EMF's and smart meter output.

The meter arrived in a few days and in perfect order.This very useful meter has just one big knob (no confusion possible!). You twist the big knob to measure magnetic (in milligauss) or electric field (in volt/meter) strength, or radio frequency effect (or density) (in milliwatt/m2). The magnetic and electric field strength can be measured standard, the real value so to speak, or weighted (that is: adjusted), according to disturbance (read: damaging impact) for live/organic organisms.The screen can be backlit and a tiny loudspeaker can give audio feedback. However the sound is very faint, barely audible.This meter capture and show you the very fast and short and, lo and behold, grotesquely strong RF pulses from your mobile phone or iPad. After this shocking discovery I now always put my iphone and ipad in flight mode when not in use. Then the meter is quiet and I feel safe and happy.It has also been a relevation to check on the microwave oven. When in use I now keep a good distance, a safe distance according to the meter reading. My comfy chair and bed is radiaton free according to the meter. : )And since I have refused the installation of a smart wireless electricity meter I do not have that to worry about. (However the electricity supplier has inflicted upon me an extra yearly punishment fee of NOK 2000,- for my insubordination).(In my early career I watched colleagues warming their hands on RF leaking plugs and connections ...)Myself a retiree now, however with a university degree in applied physics and electronics and a working career in telecom/radiocom, the Trifield TF2 EMF meter is a true little beauty of simplicity and usefulness and it is therefore highly recommended for the amateur and the professional alike for easy everyday check and monitoring of your personal electromagnetic environment.

This was one of the best recommended by someone who actually uses these. Bought to check out a house (for my daughter with a young baby) pre-purchase as a mobile phone mast was nearby. Readings showed you would not wish to live in the road(!), but inside the house was OK. Very helpful. Now proceeding with the purchase.

No point in singing and dancing. This is the device you need for the right price. Better one costs 12k. Had it for half a year now and it always worked as expected. Sound ticking is for density or strength of radiation, unlike Acoustimeter AM-10, which gives you a clear picture of what the wave feels like. With TF2 you have a display and peak holding, which aren't unavailable with AM-10. Same applies to EMF measurements - AM-10 can't do that. AM-10 is Radiation only. AM-10 has also power measurement, which in my mind TF2 lacks. Ideally I'd have both, because my sensitive friend says he has sensations in his body from wireless and bluetooth exactly as per AM-10. So, he got one and whenever he feels unwell - first thing he measures all around him with AM-10, finds the source and disables it. He couldn't do that with TF2. He got rid of acid reflux in just under a month after disabling his amazing 6-channel ROG router and wiring all devices up, even his iPhone.We use TF2 twice a week after full EMR/EMF isolation of the dwelling to find and remove any new possible sources of electro-smog. Not sure if it can be related, but our sleep has improved by a mile. There is a table of effects on various beings affected by radiation; you can STILL find a few good lists of scientific researches on the topic. Don't read if you are morally sensitive, some get heart just by the knowledge. :)

Arrived well packaged and fully sealed. Within the ample Amazon packaging the unit itself was manufacture sealed within a shock proof case. When I put the 9v battery in the unit it was completely dead, I went out and bought another battery and tried it again, unit was still lifeless. There was no damage to the packaging or to the unit itself. This is an expensive meter, so I have to question the build quality of the meter itself, how did a dead unit get past quality control or how did it break during basic transportation, after all it’s supposed to be a handheld portable device, so should be reasonably robust. I’m not confident about buying another one, it was an ordeal returning it and expensive. This was a manufacturing issue not an Amazon issue.
