They’re sinkers.
Egg shaped hunk of lead, does it’s job. I used them to send a line through a tree, the hole was a bit small so I had to enlarge it slightly with a drill bit. Shouldn’t be a problem with fishing line.

I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on tungsten to flip/punch for bass in heavy cover. I've made these do the trick. Very happy.
