Q: I plan to use in a building with lots of windows, weight building equipment and concrete floor lots of bodies, sun and sweat. Right or wrong prod.?

I'd go with a heavier thicker stronger mat. This one works great for personal use but I can see high traffic being a challenge with these mats.

Q: Does this protect the floor from heavy use of battle ropes?

It would be adequate for use with battle ropes regularly coming into contact with the surface but just under half an inch think, they might require something a little thicker, more durable and dense!
