Work Sandals
I love Chaco sandals. I have 3 pair of the classic z. I needed something that looked better for work and church. My job requires me to dress business casual and all sandals must have a heel strap. I put these on right out of the box and they were so comfortable. I love they have the adjustable buckle strap. The straps do not adjust like the classics. Honestly not a deal breaker for me. I am so excited to wear these for many spring and summer adventures. I am typically a 8.5 wide in women’s shoes. I ordered a 9 and they fit great.

Sandals with arch support!
I absolutely adore these sandals and after wearing them for a week, bought a pair in black. They are comfortable enough to wear all day, and cute too. They seem very well made. I bought them for a vacation where I planned to do a lot of walking and they did not disappoint. I'm looking at a pair of waterproof Chacos as well.

Mixed emotions
I was so excited to try these, as I’ve heard Chaco is an excellent brand with stellar quality. While these seem to be very well made, there a couple things preventing me from loving them.First, there are some sharp edges to the leather which make the straps uncomfortable. To be fair, I have really sensitive skin so this might be more apparent to me, but this could have been prevented easily if they had sealed the edges of the leather or used a softer leather that’s not so stiff. I have other genuine leather shoes that are wonderfully comfortable and soft with no sharp edges while still being durable.Second, the straps on the right shoe were quite a bit tighter than the left, making that shoe painfully uncomfortable 😕.At this price point, I think these kinds of issues shouldn’t be happening.I will say they seem sturdy and the arch support was amazing. It could be that I got a fluke pair.Update: I’ve now ordered multiple pairs of these in different colors of the same size, and the tight strap issue is definitely A quality control one, as it’s present in the other colors as well. You may just have to order more than one pair to get a good one 🙄🤦🏻♀️. I couldn’t find another comfortable walking shoe with good arch support, a thick sole and nice style, so I decided to deal with the hassle of ordering multiples for an upcoming trip. The issue of sharp edges seems to be whatever they use to seal the ends of the threads — glue or resin or something. Once you cut these off, the shoe is comfortable… hopefully the threads don’t unravel 🤞🏽🤞🏽

My favorite sandal!
These sandals are worth the $! I bought a pair years ago & now buying a different color. Same fit in both sandals, even though manufactured in different places & different sole material. I walk in them all day with no blisters or rubbing & my feet & legs don’t hurt like most shoes. They aren’t cushioned, but they fit my feet wonderfully! The first pair has held up really well & I often get complements.

Michelins for your feet
I've appreciatively worn Chaco sandals for decades, finding them sturdy, comfortable, and easy on the eyes. My only complaint is that they've discontinued a few favourites over the years (sending me to search for them on eBay to stock up). Now that I moved to France, good sandals are like good tires--a necessity. Chaco's Wayfarers are at the top of the list for comfort, support, quality, and looks. No other shoes take a licking on the cobblestones and keep on kicking. ;) Merci!

pros & cons (PASS IF YOU WEAR A HALF SIZE)
PROS:- very cute design, makes for a casual OR formal look- cork footbed good for if you have sweaty feet and can’t wear shoes with a smooth sole- prebroken in leathers are soft- feel sturdyCONS:- i wear a 9.5 and sized down per recommendation and found it squeezed my feet, and sized up and it was too long but still squeezed- VERY hard footbed, which makes walking for long periods painful- no half sizes!these sandals will be good for people who have narrow feet and don’t wear half sizes. really unfortunate i didn’t like it because of how practical and multi use the design is

Comfy right out of the box!
Long time fan of traditional Chacos, so was excited to try this leather version, and they did not disappoint! Very comfortable footbed with the suede surface & arch support. The straps are soft & don't chafe at all, even on the first wear. Like others have said, I did find that I needed to size down from my regular Chaco sizing (10). I ordered two pair, a 9 & a 10 just to be sure, and the 10 was too big, both in length & the straps were too loose - my foot flopped around in it. If they offered half sizes, I probably would have gone for a 9.5, but the 9 works, and the strap fit is perfect. Happy Chaco customer here!
