Spacing is adjustable, easy to install, works well and looks great.
We installed this on a prefabricated horse tack stall door. The door frame is made of aluminum and is quite warped. We needed a latch that wouldn't stick out too far and possibly hurt an inquisitive horse. The latch also had to handle serious pressure to seal the warped door. The latch is about two-thirds of the way toward the upper left corner of the door. So far so good.
