I like these book jackets very much Very good quality and easy to use.

This was maybe my 6th order. I have a home library, which works well for social distancing. But, I move books around frequently as I purge them and this has caused damage to the spine of my book cover[s. I learned the hard way. And, I’m still learning as I accidentally let myself run out of these covers.The covers are easy, just take your book cover off your HARDBACK and wrap , tape it if you wish like the library does and it then place it back on the book. This works well to protect my books. I always get the same size, because this fits the average hardback with ease. Smaller books will work but they feel bulky if they are to small..but they work.

I love buying used library books with the mylar cover. These covers are the same ones used by libraries. Very easy to put on and keeping that new or old cover intact. My suggestion would be to buy a size close to the size of your book. Book size vary widely. But most books will be close to fit. Use a bone tool or credit card to crease the covers if they are a little to large. If you get a good crease then using tape is not really necessary. If you only have a few books to cover then a precut cover would work out. But if you have a bunch and of various sizes I would get the rolls in a kit form.

These work well! I had to adjust the size by 1 inch for some of my books, but if you take your time and work carefully it's not difficult. My grandmother has asked me to order more so we can cover her first editions!

Since I am not as experienced using these as employees in used books stores, it can take me a while to get a nice, neat fit. By the time I have used contents of this purchase to cover my books, I will be much more proficient - assuming my old fingers cooperate..

I've seen book protectors before & with the huge amount of hardcover books I have, this is the best way to keep the covers in safe condition. I've also just picked up a number of old hardcover books in great condition & want to keep them that way. Since these Brodart covers come in various sizes, it's best to make sure your chosen sizes are as close as possible, for instance, the 11 x 24 covers are just a little too much for a book 8 1/2 high (but that's mostly my fault, got carried away with protecting my treasured books)... So, that being said, aside from that, go wild and protect your treasured books with these, you can't go wrong.

I absolutely love this! I was able to cover all of my hardback books and not have to have any adhesive to ruin my books. I love that the dust jackets are protected. I feel like I have actual library books but they are actually mine! I thought they were really easy to fold around the book!
