Hamilton Beach 70720G-SAU Stack & Snap Food Processor, Plastic, 300W and 8 Cups, Black

Bought because I was sick of cutting vegetables, esp potatoes, in to small bits to push in to conventional processors. This doesn't disappoint, unless it's a really large potato, it will fit. Does all the usual and added bonus of being easy to assemble - pushes together, cleans easily, feels sturdy. Would recommend

I have been using my old processor for 40 years but it is too big to leave on the counter and too heavy to bring out unless there isn’t another alternative to getting a job done easily. I’ve ended up only bringing it out to grate vegetables even though it has many attachments.The Hamilton Beach on the other hand is compact and light. Very easy to put together and everything fits inside for storage. I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t be able to use the click on lid but it goes on easily.I have only had it a couple of weeks and have sliced loads of vegetables for the freezer. Also grated carrots and swede for soup. Although nothing tells you about baking, I have crumbed flour and butter for scones using 225 grams of flour. I haven’t tried a larger quantity yet. I also made pizza dough.You can cut up small quantities by turning it on and throwing the items down the chute. I tried this with 2 cloves of garlic and a small piece of ginger.Hamilton Beach is a well known American brand and I owned some of their products when I lived there and found them to be reliable. I hope they will be selling a lot more of their products in UK.
