I replaced my worn out set with these and love the fast heat up time. The J-wires are easy to use and the compact design will be make traveling with them so much easier! Price is affordable too. These are a great product!

I purchased this set to replace a set of old wax core rollers I had, which came in a large, hard plastic case that had bare metal rods on which to heat them, and plastic clips that had to be stored separately from the rollers. When I received these, I was pleasantly surprised by how compact they are. They're meant to be heated inside the case, which has two small front pockets to hold the clips (I removed the clips before I got started, since I wasn't sure how hot they'd get next to the rollers). They claim to be "instant heat" and the instruction booklet says they're hot enough to create a wavy effect within 90 seconds, although you can allow them to heat to the full temperature for tighter curls. It doesn't specify how long it takes them to reach that point, so I left them for 10 minutes while I did some other things. The rollers were easy to handle, and the rubbery texture kept them from sliding too much through my hair. I used all 5 of the larger size and 3 of the smaller for my test run. I was worried that the metal pins would be hard to use, but I found the hold was actually much better than that of the plastic claw clips I was used to. I have shoulder-length, very straight, fine, and color-treated (lightened) hair, which is hard to curl. These hot rollers made a tight curl in my hair in just 20 minutes from start to finish (when they cooled and I removed them), which was easy for me to finger comb and rearrange into the looser look that I wanted. I think I could easily use all 10 for fuller body and a more evenly distributed style. There would likely not be enough rollers in this set for anyone with longer hair, or thicker hair, than my own, although they heat quickly enough that I think anyone with long/thick hair could easily do half, put them back into the case to reheat, and do the other side without too much fuss. This went much faster (for me) than using any other kind of hair appliance, and I suppose if you wanted to save time, they're cost effective enough that you could purchase two sets. I'm very satisfied with these, and the compact size should be very easy to travel with; at around 6" long, this case will probably take up less space in my suitcase than a single shoe. I would highly recommend!

I have had the another set of hot rollers for 50 years. Yes 50 years!!! Every time I’ve replaced them because they are big and bulky and the lid broke I have been disappointed.. I bought these with frankly low expectations. I travel a lot and thought I could use them for just that. These hot rollers are small and compact . They heat up very well. My curls hold up all most of the day. (That is great for my hair).. Tips.. They heat fast but I plug in and give extra15 minutes or so to heat. I have a pair of dollar store gloves I use when using these rollers.They get HOT!! The clips work fine but I prefer the plastic clips from my old set.That is why I took off a star. It may be a matter of preference. I use these every day now instead of my old set!! That says a lot!!

These were perfect size very compact for travel. Quality was good for what they were. They do take a little bit to get used to. You definitely have curls that last forever I actually had to tame the curls down some they were a bit more curlier than my desire. But definitely are great when you're traveling and you need some volume to your hair and some great curls. Price point is perfect for these quality little set of travel curlers.

These rollers are compact and great for traveling. The rollers themselves stay in my hair when I have styling product in my hair. Otherwise slip out. The number of rollers is good for my hair - 10 does the job. The large rollers are a bit smaller than the normal large roller size in a larger kit, due to the compact size. Major con is inconsistent heating. Some rollers are nice and hot. while others are too cool. They also seem to take longer than 90 seconds to heat up. I had high hopes but I will be returning them.

I can't believe I haven't bought this before. I have short fine straight hair. It just lays there with no body. I got this today and I immediately plugged it in. It heated very fast .I rolled my hair and 20 minutes later I had a head full of bouncy curls!!! If you are on the fence about getting this, go ahead and purchase it. It is so worth it especially if you are tired of your hair doing nothing but laying there.

Best Compact Set Dual Voltage Ever! I took this set to Italy and used them everyday. I only needed an adapter and they worked perfectly. I traveled to many regions in Italy over a 2 week period. These curlers, delivered beautiful soft curl that lasted all day every day. Actually at home, I use them everyday too! I love the curl and how little space they take up is amazing. They are super and the price is outstanding. I just ordered 2 more sets and plan to have one as a spare and my sister traveled with me to Italy so I bought her a set too because she fell in love with them. They won’t let you down! Two thumbs way up. Great for travel and for every day use!
