How many cans of beer fit in this thing?

I use it for beer mainly. I drink 16 oz Coors and the wife 12 oz budlight clamatos. I can fit 20 Coors on the main level and 4 have to go to the bottom. Wife's clamatos go on top. Can fit 20 up there. Plus the door holds extras or whatever else. Awesome fridge for the price.

why are so many arriving dented as per reviews?

I'm thankful for reviews that rate the purchase experience which includes delivery. I'm always leery when purchasing an item like this for delivery. Some of it is packaging, controllable by the manufacturer. Some of it is choice of delivery service, controllable by the merchant. UPS was really bad about delivering banged up stuff. Now it's FedEx. Sometimes I suspect they're hostile to Amazon and WalMart. Just a suspicion though. USPS seems to be more careful; I always rest easier when I see an item was shipped USPS. But they don't do big appliances. When an item arrives banged up it's not like I'm there and given a chance to inspect and accept/refuse. So then I'm stuck with trying to figure out how to return it. Usually I just live with it and promise myself not to order a large fragile item for delivery ever again... but necessity eventually persuades me to do so. So I hope folks still warn others when items are arriving damaged. And the best way to do that is by rating what you receive for the money you spent. Not "rate the product, not the delivery" :) That's not helpful. My frig just died so I was looking a a small cheap "good enough for now" replacement but... I don't know now.

I don't have a single outlet available in my room, just one under my closet. Does this thing require an outlet?

What they likely mean is, would it be safe to use the fridge with an extension cord, or would it need to be plugged directly to an outlet. I would say that if you were to get an extension, to make sure it's a low-number gauge, and as short as possible. That should decrease the possibility of it heating up and causing a fire. But of course it would be best to plug it in directly to an outlet.
