Bac Out Stain & Odor Eliminator with Live Enzyme Cultures, 32 oz

This is literally the ONLY product out there I’ve ever found that gets mildew/burnt crayon smells out of clothes if you let them soak in it before washing. It saved me a lot of money and many shirts from being tossed after using natural deodorants that had coconut oil or other natural oils that left residue on pits of my clothes and went rancid after washing and drying in heat. With pet smells/pee odor smells on upholstery, it works moderately well but isn’t a strong enough lime smell to get the ammonia pee smell out all the way once dry. I had to use a highly scented cleaner after it was dry just to get the traces of pee smell out. That said, I haven’t used it on my carpets yet, which is its actual intended use. Overall, though, this is a great product for my preferred use, which is removing bad mildew odors from clothes. I highly recommend it for this particular use!

This is by far the best urine destroying product I've purchased over the years. Other products can be okay if you're finding the urine when it's fresh/wet, but if you move into a place where someone else has had dogs or cats that peed on carpet and other products have been attempted, this one will get the job done. I am extremely liberal with it however, so it is a little expensive to use because I'll frequently use the entire bottle on a fairly small section of carpeting. The bottle hasn't leaked for me at all, but again it is generally all used up at once so I haven't tested out what happens if the bottle tips over or anything. The smell is great compared to other urine/stain enzyme cleaners. It is very lime-y while you're using it, but then after you've removed the excess product and it has had a chance to dry, there's no lingering smell that's perfumey or like a strong chemical. It has been safe to use for all carpets I've tried it on and didn't create any new stains.

I love BioKleen. I've been using it for years. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming. The bottle dispenses well without leaking or causing a mess. But most importantly, this is the most effective product I have found for dealing with pet messes - whether it's a senior dog who has the occasional accident or cat hairballs, this gets the stain out. I like that the product doesn't have a strong chemical smell.

Would give 10 stars. We have been using biokleen laundry detergent for several years. One of my children suffers from incontinence issues. Most detergents barely make a dent in the odors. But the biokleen detergent did a decent job. I saw this product and decided to try it as an add on for the laundry. It has really been remarkable in tackling odors. I even will use a little bit and do a quick wash of the washer empty after having a very “soiled” load to get rid of any residue in the washer before doing another load. You don’t need a bunch of this so the bottle should last for a long time. I saw this product about a year ago and meant to get it and forgot about it. I’m sort of bummed that we could have lived with out some of the odors for the last year if I had just gotten it to begin with! If you are dealing with body fluids or odors, an enzyme product is 100% the way to go. This bac out used with the detergent makes a powerful duo to eliminate the source of odors and soil.

This cleaner was really a good component to get my carpet back in shape after my dog soiled a spot. I found out that if I use this as directed in the mix of cleaning, the carpet does not smell bad later. If your pet soils the carpet with solid, then this works for me with my DuPont material carpet. First, pick up the mess and discard. Next I put Biokleen on there undiluted per directions. Next I prepare 2L warm water with 1/2 load worth of non-chlorine bleach and laundry detergent. I take a wet/dry shop vac (empty/clean), and with gloves pour small amounts of the water mixture scrubbing with hands then immediately vacuuming up. After that I repeat with 6L of warm water washing all this out of the carpet. Finally I vacuum as much water as possible for at least 10 mins, until there are no real gains. I'll run a fan over the area for at least a day and let the humidity out.

Wonderful effective and affordable enzymatic cleaner. Best one I’ve found; have tested many over the years.

Don't do your laundry without this stuff! I put it in a spray bottle and spritz my laundry as I put it in the basket, especially anything that needs extra cleaning like makeup remover cloths or kitchen towels. This stuff is an essential household item.

Product is excellent but arrived broken and leaking everywhere. I had to pay to return the product, which basically cost me the price of one of the bottles.
