Does Amazon make efforts to ensure that batteries are not counterfeit?

Received some counterfeit batteries mixed in with OEM batteries. The counterfeit batteries were all dead upon receipt. If you choose to buy batteries or anything in Amazon look over the packaging carefully and report it to Amazon so they can take action against the seller. I would probably not buy batteries from Amazon as this appears to be a real problem based on the number of comments.

Do not order because these are NOT Coppertops.

The product is not as described, these batteries are regular Duracell alkaline batteries.I ordered from a PRIME approved supplier as a Prime member, expecting to receive the authentic coppertop batteries, but what I received was nothing related to the listed product.
