Great for teacher, a voice and Life savor !!!
I got this for my wife, who is a primary school teacher. It has a really good sound quality and It's nice that it is wireless, so she doesn't have to carry around the speaker in order to use this. This item was really helpful during the Covid period as the students weren't wanting to come in closer. This can get really loud--one of her coworkers commented that this was a great recommendation for other teachers and the build quality of the item. Few are the pro and cons I found for itProsNice build and sound quality for the priceNice battery backup for the provided sizeConsSometimes it may be little heavier to carry around

It doesn’t cut out
I had purchased a similar unit about 5 years ago. It was a smaller wattage output. It worked great until it started to not hold a charge. It was used for only 2 one hour classes a week and after these last few months it could no longer hold a charge so the headset stopped working 3/4 of the way through class. I decided to purchase a different brand which didn’t work out so well. I sent that back and bought this unit which works great. It has great sound quality and is easy to use.

very reliable. loud but pitch.
I could buy this speaker again because it had high quality manufacturing. Relable in various weather conditions. Keep above freezing temperatures to keep safe.

Background hiss
The unit I received has a fairly pronounced background hiss. First I connected via bluetooth: I had to turn the volume up fairly high for my purposes (announcing outdoors), and at that volume I had both a noticeable hiss plus, at times, some piercing feedback from up to 1-2 feet away as I was moving around and testing mic positions. So I tried the wired headset, and I didn't get the feedback, but it did have the same constant background hiss. I also tried plugging in a flash drive with music on it; the music sounded decent, but again there was the hiss -- which is not very loud at low or moderate volume, but why is it there at all, and do they all have it? I don't know. One other note, which may or may not matter to you, it doesn't come with a hand-held microphone. That is, you could of course hold the bluetooth microphone by hand and speak into the foam tip, but that's not quite the same as holding a standard microphone. Other than that, it comes with all the cables, chargers, connectors, etc. that you'd need. So in sum, the volume and functionality are good, everything worked, and it was easy to use, but for me that hiss was a problem.

Wireless headset is unreliable.
- When the wireless headset is connected, it has a good range and sounds great. However, some days the connection is spotty and my voice drops in-and-out while I teach a class. This device would be a 5, but with the dropping of the voice, it is a 2 or even a 1. I don't even try using it anymore during class because of the fear of it dropping my voice.- The volume on this little speaker is great!! I still use it as a Bluetooth speaker for music because of the surprising volume that comes out of this little thing. To clarify, it is great because of the volume, but it does not have the greatest quality of sound when it comes to depth. Because of its size it has very little bass.- The port covers are not secure. Just with a little movement, I have found that the port covers end up unplugged by themselves.- So, while I was trying out all the options, I was eager to see if I could use the wired headset that it comes with (to avoid the voice drop) and use the full volume to project my voice far distances. What I have found is that when I have it at full volume the howling is absolutely horrible. So, to avoid the howling I would have to turn the volume down. For your information, I had it hanging from the strap at its furthest distance. I compared the volume at the point where it does not howl to the volume of the a much more affordable Zoweetec portable speaker (wired headset; the Bluetooth is not as loud). The zooweetec was louder with less howling.- the advantages would be the louder volume, waterproof, and bluetooth speaker features.
