it's a bit heavy. got it for 2700 n the lightening deal. i tried the electronic step down (cheap) ones but they were only giving 65v and made the atta mixer spin very fast. this one works perfectly.

The fitting of US/ Canada plug to the transformer is loose (so standards are POOR). These are electricals and must have safe connections.There is one display on the Transformer which gives Input (IP) voltage and Output Voltage (OP).On powering up the transformer, it has a 'Time Delay' of 5 seconds visible as timer running down from 5 seconds to starting at intervals of One Second. Dont know if it is to prevent a sudden load or has some self testing.For a small unit, with just 600 Watt, it makes sound. However, as soon as a load is connected, it ends up giving a strong feedback causing voltage fluctuation on the phase. We have several appliances in the kitchen and almost all are much higher current/load appliances, but such fluctuation is not found with them. Possibly, the circuit is not refined and the system is a little raw.The loose plug fitting is presently the weakest link in this system. I plan to fit a US socket so that both Male and Female fit firmly.This is why, for now, product gets a 3.5 to 4 as it is too soon to confirm its performance and durability/ life.

I was searching for a decent Voltage step down equipment for my US appliance. This product is very impressive in looks & it provides real time readings on the screen. buy it for my coffee machine purchased from USA. High power out from converter. unsafe for my coffee machine.finishing also not upto the mark. socket is also of poor quality in which coffee machine top is not fix properly.

When the input voltage increases, output voltage increased as well.Need some work on stabilization on output ..If the input is high, the system cut off automatically.. that’s pretty good to avoid or damage the system

If you need to use any 100-110V products, it must use this kind product. This is working well.One issue is size. It is big.

Using it for some Antique Hi Fi Equipment Imported from USA, works great, 1KVA capacity, Heavy & built solid. Only thing is cant understand why have a Indian 220V type socket for the 110 V Out put? anyways have connected a spikebuster into which all the US pins can be inserted.

The Output 110 Volt socket is round type, and not Universal Type as given in product picture given on Amazon site. Since allthe 110 V devices are with Flat type pin plugs only, the Converter does not connect to the devices. Disappointed to note that actual specs differ from that given in product specs and photos on Amazon.in site.
