I picked up this front wheel support block to pair with my indoor bike trainer, and it’s one of those small accessories that surprisingly makes the setup feel more professional. The block lifts the front wheel just enough so the bike sits level instead of tilted forward, which makes longer indoor sessions feel more natural. It also helps keep the bike steady under the handlebars instead of wobbling around when I get out of the saddle. The design is straightforward — solid molded plastic with a rubber-textured base that grips the floor and prevents slipping even when I’m pedaling hard. It fits a wide range of tyre widths (from fairly narrow road tyres up to fairly chunky mountain bike tyres), so I didn’t have to worry about compatibility with my hybrid. There aren’t any bells and whistles to speak of because it’s basically a wedge of plastic, but that’s also part of the appeal: no setup, no adjustments, just place it under the wheel and you’re good to go. The only minor quibble is that if your floor is super smooth, a small mat underneath can help it stay put even better. All in all, a solid supportive block that makes indoor trainer rides more comfortable and stable — especially useful once you start pushing yourself on longer workouts.
