I found this book very useful in my formulation of ideas for constructing new cage platforms and the structures to house these in. I came-up with something new ( a single hutch frame that supports 2 wire cages, 30"x 48" and 30"x30" - that can stand alone in fair weather, or be slipped into a wooden housing during cold/wet weather). I wouldn't have thought of my covered/uncovered combination doe pen with grow-out pen without the multiple suggestions for types of rabbit housing found in this book. The book provides information to help you make decisions. It is like being handed a roadmap and the keys to the car. You decide which way to go... or follow proven ideas.

Great book to have as a resource and/or starting place.Full of information about cage building, including material list and design styles. Great insight in the directions with tips from a man who's built many cages.

Worth the purchase price !Picked up a few interesting ideas and concepts to incorporate into my next design (one of the main reasons for my existence). Animal comfort and well being should never be sacrificed (my opinion) and ease of feeding,caring and maintaining made better (and easier) is an never ending quest-to that end a good book stokes the mind !

This book is good, as it covers a lot of detail on Rabbit raising and housing but, I only want to build hutches and was looking for an illustarted version in colour...A good book!!

I read this book from the library before I bought it. The details and options in how to house the rabbits is awesome and easy to follow.
