Excellent coverage of Excel 2016
Thorough coverage of Excel's many features. It explains many Excel commands and capabilities that should be valuable for beginning and intermediate users. The End of Chapter problems were excellent and offered adequate assistance to complete them.I also liked one of the early chapters in the textbook that covered Windows 10. It provided a thorough coverage of using Windows 10 with Office 2016, with a special emphasis on using it with Excel.

Horribly organized but clear step by step instruction
This is one of the most confusingly organized books I've ever read. Rather than clearly numbering pages (i.e. Page 1, 2, 3...), it is numbered in exercise numbers so pages go EX 1, 2, 3, etc. Therefore when you refer back to a page for something, it would be something like page EX 104. Then each exercise was also numbered in steps. I don't quite understand the benefit of doing it this way. But it definitely took some time to figure out. However I do have to admit the examples themselves were extremely detailed, step by step, and easy to follow. It literally teaches you Excel from A to Z, with so many screenshots for you to follow. I enjoy this book because there's very little "lecturing" in the book. You simply open it up to the first chapter and follow along (type this, open that, click on this, etc) and by the end of each chapter you will have created a complete spreadsheet. It took me an average of 3-4 hours per chapter to complete. You start off chapter 1 creating a basic spreadsheet (entering info, resizing, printing) and by chapter 2 you are already on to typing formulas. Pretty good! This book is huge and worth the price.

She said it was exactly what the professor had asked for and she was very happy with it
I purchased this book for my niece's college class. She said it was exactly what the professor had asked for and she was very happy with it.

Blurry Images
I have the Kindle version of this book. The tables and text clarity are OK (definitely not good, but readable), but, any screenshots of the program in use are blurry. No amount of zooming in or out changes that. Sometimes the assignments in the book refer to data that is only in the images, so I have to take my best guess. Much of this program is visual, so to have such poor blurry images, is very disappointing.

No Access Code!
I purchased a new (sealed) Loose Leaf edition of this book. When it was delivered, I learned that the book did not contain the Access code necessary to access the online components of the book. It would have been helpful if the product description had indicated that the Loose Leaf edition doesn't include the Access code. I had to return this version of the Excel book and order the softcover version. Although I qualified for free shipping, I paid almost $15 for expedited shipping so I would receive the softcover Excel book before my class begins.

Great text for beginners and advanced users
This text is very thorough, and is a great guide to using Excel, whether you're a beginner or an advanced user. I generally sell my textbooks once my courses are completed, but I NEVER part with any Cengage Microsoft Office 365 texts. They serve as great reference books for future coursework or careers.
