I read acouple reviews saying that others used this as a way to eliminate order and I thought I would give it a try. I have a gecko that smells really bad even if I have the cage cleaned daily. I decided to hang this on the back side of his terrarium for awhile to see if it improved the smell of my room. After about two months I'm very surprised that it's been keeping the odor under control and I can never smell a thing from that tank. Unless I'm hovering over it to do something. For awhile I wondered when it would start working or collect water but after two weeks I forgot about it and once I remembered it the bag had some water. It's been about two months and the whole thing is almost done with the bag full of water. I will need to switch soon to the second bag that comes with this box. For the price I thought it was a little much but if I'm going to make it four months on one box I feel better about it.Keep in mind it took about two to three weeks for me to finally notice that my room no longer smelled. I think I was use to it and that's why it took awhile but if your impatient I would advise that you give it a solid week or two. It worked perfectly for me and I'm pretty sure this isn't exactly how you're suppose to use these.If you need some clarification on how this works, There's basically crystal hard rocks of the baking soda in the top section that dissolve into water and that water drips down into the bottom bag. Once the crystals are all dissolved into water you pitch it.

We live near the beach and I was shocked after 6 months of living here how moist or damp many of my clothes felt each morning when I would go into my closet to reach for them. I actually thought I was going crazy because I had never experienced anything like it before. And this was a brand new home.Then one day one of our neighbors asked if we had any issues with mold or rot in our master closet. I looked into the far back of the closet, at the coats and jackets and hiking boots that hadn’t been worn in a while, and sure enough, there was a thin layer of mold starting to grow on everything.We have VERY large walk in master closets, about 15’x7’. They are set right outside of the master bath and there is no window in them so no ventilation.I purchased 2-2pks of these and after cleaning and wiping everything in the closet down, I hung them in various locations.I was really in disbelief that after only two-weeks, each of these hanging bags were full of water!!! How does that happen???I’m so relieved to have found these. And even though we have installed a window in the master closet to have some sort of ventilation, I still keep 4 of them hanging at all times. They still fill up, but now it takes about a month.I couldn’t recommend these in any stronger terms. They get so much moisture out of the room, I can’t imagine what our clothes, shoes and accessories would be like without them.Try them and you will see for yourself,THEY WORK!!!Update: I’ve included photos of the bags after only one month. I keep 4 hanging in the same closet at all times and switch them out once a month, and this is AFTER installing a window in the closet.

UPDATE: I reordered this because the first set did work despite needing some DIY to hang. The new order came in perfect shape right out of the box. The first set were so effective I was willing to fix the next set if they didn't work. After about two weeks, the one in my car started leaking. The crucial part of this, and why I will order again, is that this happened after driving in very rough roads for weeks and the car was really not meant for unmaintained roads. I have not had the one in my closet leak.First Review: This product works in small places. I used one in my car after I had a moisture problem and another in a closet that has poor ventilation. It dried out my car and kept the humidity down in the closet. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I had to secure the hanger to the bag myself. I wasn't shocked by this because I did see other reviews with this problem, and I could fix it with string. The fix took literally less than 2 minutes and I just doubled up regular sewing thread.

I bought these to put in my closets in an attempt to combat some of the insane humidity in Okinawa Japan. They definitely absorb a lot of moisture and filled very quickly. Would buy again.

This thing is a godsend. I have been struggling with the gross sent of my cats litter for a while now and nothing I had tried seem to work. Then one day I looked on Amazon for room deodorizers and this popped up at an affordable price so I decided to give it a go. When I first got it I thought that there was more you had to do other than on package it from the plastic wrapping. Nope. Literally you just open it from its plastic pouch and hang it up, no fussing with the bag itself. I had totally forgotten about it until I just went into the room. It has sucked up half a bags worth of moisture and has kept the room smelling 1000 times better! 10/10 would recommend.

After a few days, I saw drops of water, after a few weeks it collected about a half a cup of water, after month 2 months 2 cups of water. It works also to freshen the air in the room. I’m already on the 2nd order. In my lower level, it works very welll, I’m happy with it!

Take moisture out of the air
