Bought this to replace the hose that came with a Volcano Grill. The hose provided with the grill has a fixed pressure regulator and a needle valve to adjust the flame. The flame adjustment using the needle valve is extremely sensitive, an eighth of a turn takes the flame from barely burning to blowtorch, way too touchy for cooking. Using this hose I have much better control of the flame size, allowing for much more precise control of the cooking temperature, especially when using a griddle.

These are an easy replacement for a past its prime BBQ regulator. After being installed turning up the dial can really increase the flame output on your BBQ. Great tool for when you need a bit more heat to land a nice sear on some flesh. Also works on flat tops to overcome the wind. Crank it up for a glorious heat boost that will have your Fajitas sizzling in no time. They seem to last a good year or more before crapping out. Still a good value since they are a real game changer when trying to get a bigger flame.

Just what I needed for my grill. I've had several of the other kind, with the built-in pressure regulator set to a permenant flow-rate. But those have all failed within 1 summer of use. So, this time, in my search for the same type of hose, I came across this one. My initial thoughts were that those other hoses had failed at that control point. Since this hose had an adjustable control instead, it would allow for me to set that instead of it being permanently done for me. Eventually, the the fail point of all the old hoses was that they would essentially restrict all gas output to nothing. Which was infuriating when I would go to use my grill to cook but it wouldn't light anymore. Even tho I had full propane tanks. I've installed the GasOne Adjustable Regulator hose on my grill & have used it a couple times. I figured out what flow-rate I wanted by setting the highest output my grill controls allowed. Then adjusting the output of the regulator on the hose to fit the flame height to where it should be. So far, I love it! It functions just like the old ones but now I control the flow. I hope it doesn't fail like all my others. The other reason I bought it was for the extra hose length. I always turn off my propane at the tank after I'm done grilling. But the hose was was always to short to keep it outside the grill. This one, with the 4 ft of length, made it possible to keep the tank in a much more accessible area. I wish I had tried the longer hose lengths before, but at least with this one I get the benefit of the adjustable regulator & the extra hose length.

Converted my Q grill about 3 years ago to work with 20-30lbs tanks with the original regulator. Over the years my flame was not as strong to the point it would not get to preheat temp of at least 500C. I’ve always kept my grill clean with frequent degreasing and ensuring the tube holes were not obstructed. I was gonna replace with a new one but after searching online it pointed me to my regulator becoming faulty. For the price of this hose with built in adjustable regulator I took the gamble and did it ever pay off! Works better than new and I can adjust the regulator to get a really good strong blue flame! Not sure how long it will last but at this price as long as I can get a full head out of it I’ll be happy and will replace with the same one when that time comes! Sorry for not posting a before video but it was so weak that only maybe a 1/3 of the tube would light up with a very low flame.
