Super easy to swap.

This fob shell works great. The inner blank key is solid and I'm sure that if I were to have it keyed to my Equinox, it would be fine. The only thing I was disappointed with is the back piece of this fob doesn't have the wings. I just used the back of my old fob without issue. I'd buy this again.

Fit great and the old back with the chevy emblem fit on it. a little tight, but I figure it needs to be tight so it doesn't fall apart. The key button is tight also, I don't use the key much. The button is a little in the hole so you have to push harder then the old on, way cheaper than buying a new fob from chevy.

The rubber pad on the face of my buddies key fob was wearing away and just looked really bad. I did a ton of research to see if I could just replace the casing of the fob instead of dropping a few hundred bucks to get a new fob, cut the key, and program it to the car - and to my luck, I could!This is exactly like the original fob. I was even shocked to find a mechanical key blank that was metal! Only two things I noticed that were different were the lack of a Chevy badge on the back and that the image for the trunk release showed a sedan. While my buddy has a Traverse, I'm not offended with it showing a sedan cause his keys are usually clipped to his pants and he doesn't really "look" at the fob. Both details I picked up on are relatively small, not enough for me to knock a star off.Casing fits on (very) tight and feels and looks as good as OEM.My friend probably won't realize he has a new fob casing (he kept his key in a silicone cover to keep the rubber from peeling any more), but he'll be in for a surprise if he ever takes the casing off!

The product is great I’m very pleased with it the only thing it was missing was the small square cushion that is necessary to hold the guts in firmer so I just used the old back but everything else was fine

I know the off brand couldn’t put the Chevy logo on it but it works perfectly. No need to go thru the dealership and pay all that money.

Easy swap to new one. If you want to keep your embalm on backside you can keep your back and snap onto the new front piece.
