Dracula, the Man behind the legendary vampire.
For fans of Lugosi, this is a MUST HAVE. From his childhood to his final moments, this tells it all. Beautifully drawn and expertly researched. It totally blew me away. I thought I knew all there was, till I read ( and re-read ) this graphic novel. It has everything..... Just buy it!

Shockingly good.
I borrowed this after listening to a tiktok on Lugosi and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The art is excellent, the storytelling dynamic, Bela himself hogs the spotlight.

Very interesting
As someone who knew nothing about Bella I had a great time learning more about his life through this graphic novel! The art style was great and I loved that all the events had dates to keep track (which unfortunately is not always the case for Non Fiction books and always drive me crazy)I’m glad this title was on KU! It was already on my wish list so I got it as soon as I was on KU :)

Quite good
Both the art and story are very respectfully presented. I think Lugosi would approve as well. One improvement that could be made in stories like theses would be to slowly fade in color as years progress and color became more widely available in media. Maybe more so in the related Serling story, because of the time frame covered. Its the Wizard of Oz gimmick that worked so well I'm often surprised it isn't used more frequently.

A Wonderful Bio Graphic
These graphic novels that tell the stories of certain extraordinary people like Bela Lugosi or Rod Serling are a gift to cherish. They document the lives of the beings in a manner that is more coherent than film or tradional biography. Fast and fun to experience.

An interesting bio
Who would think a graphic novel could tell so much about someone's life. A fascinating look at Bela Lugosi and his bittersweet final years.

Beautiful Artwork, Informative Text
This is an impressive and informative graphic novel about the life of Bela Lugosi.I've watched many Lugosi films even though I wouldn't consider myself to be a horror fan. They range in quality, and I always wondered why he fell from grace so quickly in comparison to his contemporaries in the field. This book explains the pitfalls with beautifully detailed drawings that never feel like a collection of cheap fan-art. I was so impressed with this book that I opted to seek out Shadmi's other graphic novels.
