Worked perfectly for my koi pond's moving bed and waterfall!
I built a custom moving bed filter for my koi pond using these. I used the 3" version. I used 3 and connected to a 65 gallon trash can that I put a large air bladder to "boil" K3 media. I had one of these fittings close to the bottom side, and two near the top for water that would exit and make it's way toward a waterfall. These sealed well (no issue with the threads for me!) to the can, flat surface. I did use silicon to ensure no leaks but I don't think this was necessary, however these are now buried and if there were leaks later (I checked before burying) I didn't want to have to dig it up to address. I LOVED the included piece that was included that lets you seal off the fitting. I drilled a series of holes in these so water could flow through but keeps the K3 media from entering the pipes. Without this part I would have had to spend more money and time figuring out a solution that would accomplish the task, in the case of these fittings I just drilled some holes! I used another two of these, and they went through a hole I made in some flexible EPM pond liner that I used for the waterfall. Essentially water enters a bowl (made of the liner) and as it rises it spills over a rock into the pond. For this application I did not need the included caps.

Used these to replace leaking bulkheads.
I used the to replace leaking bulkheads on some rubbermaid stock tanks. They sealed very well and are very well made. The lock nut is a lefthanded thread so you have to turn it to the left to tighten it. It is smooth when tighteningthe lock nut. The o rings are of decent quality. The included plugs are also a welcoming addition. Fitment of the bulkheads are great. Make sure you measure you hole size before ordering the listed size is not the hole size. Hole size will need to be bigger. The only con that I have is I wish these came in black. I have been using these for almost 2 years on some of my aquariums also. Will buy more as needed.

Works great!
These work great. Put a bit of grease on the silicone seal to make it easy to tighten.

Solid bulkhead
The outer threading is non std and meant only for the nut. Nothing else. Also weird it twists on in reverse counter clockwise but doesn't matter it is only for the locking nut. Material is very solid and dense.

QuQuyi 1.5 Inch PVC Bulkhead Water Tank Connector
I installed one each of these into three blue rain-water collection barrels. I could NOT stop the leaking. I suppose it was because of the flat size of the devices and the radius of the barrels. My remedy was to buy some "MECCANIXITY Silicone Rubber Gasket Industrial Flange O-Ring for 2.5 Inch Clamp White Pack of 5" ($10.39 for 5 rings) and put one between the outside nut and the barrels. This eliminated the leaks - so far. Seems like the seller (Feelers) would provide that extra confidence item. Don't particularly need nor want to have a plug with a nice O-ring! I have had no problems with the threads that others have encountered. I would buy more of these ONLY with the additional extra O-ring

The most ODD plumbing part I've ever purchased!
It's a heavy, HEAVY bulkhead, so I assume it is durable. But it has the most ODD threading: The OUTSIDE thread is Schedule 80 (NOT the conventional Schedule 40). The INSIDE thread is NPT (Normal Pipe Thread) -- no kidding: 3" O/D NPT. If it's used strictly as a drain-plug, it's a fantastic plumbing part -- BEWARE if you need to add plumbing extensions / diverters away from this bulkhead. Lastly, (I think this is a feature, and not a defect) -- the inside thread is "normal" threading in that clockwise rotation tightens: the outside thread tightens on counter-clockwise rotation.

Words great on a plastic baby pool…
I use a large plastic baby pool for summer water play for my dogs. Emptying the pool is a royal pain…I have to bale most of the water out with a bucket or pan, then tip it over. I added this to the lower part of the “wall” to make emptying the pool easier. It works great! Now I just unscrew the plug and let the bulk of the water drain out on its own, then I tip it over for the remaining 2-3 inches of water.

Reordered once again If same never order again

These were used for inlets for black water storage tanks, so the seal was important. They have been in service for some time now, with no issues.

Read your dimensions carefully!!! Wrong size for me but I truly believe the quality of this item would handle a fire hose. Disclaimer. Don’t try
