These are better than others I have used. They're a friction fit, so no problem with the positive end making contact with other batteries.

These adapters are a cost saving product. Perfect for replacing C-cell batteries. Just install a double A battery into the adapter and you have a perfect D-cell battery ready to use. No need to purchase regular D-cell batteries.

I have tried soooo many of these adapters on Amazon and these are the only ones I can find that just work easily and well. You slide in the AA battery and it clicks into place when the button-top side of the AA cell protrudes the right amount, which is more than enough clearance for the button to be well exposed as well as the shoulder of the AA cell. That's important because other adapters open up (and fall apart) and must clip together and are usually too big and the button top doesn't stick out enough for many applications. No such problem with these. Also there is enough of a radius on the C cell (adapter) corners that they don't fight going in next to each other. Best ones I can find on Amazon - I won't buy any others because they're a hassle. These just work, and work well.

These do exactly what they’re advertised to do, which is to use a AA battery in place of a C battery. The problem is that devices use C batteries for a reason, and what you end up with is a battery that doesn’t last very long. Which is not exactly desirable.

We have some Sure Pet feeders that inexplicably "require" C batteries. Most alkaline C batteries are roughly on par with good rechargeable AA cells, and I've got dozens of those. So these allow me to use my existing stash of AA rechargeables for my pet feeders (with a slight reduction in battery life). These fit just right and are reasonably priced!

Did you ever buy one of those Christmas snow globes and you find out too late they take C batteries? What if your wife bought 5 of them and now you need 15 C batteries. Too expensive. I got these to put my Eneloop AA rechargeable batteries into. They work great. I don't mind changing the batteries a few more times if it saves me hundreds of dollars over the years. These adapters are easy to use and fit just fine.

Unless you are using disposable alkaline batteries, I won't recommend using these since it damages my rechargeable batteries protective shell. I ended up placing heat shrink tube with exact fit on the damaged battery to protect it from leakage.

El hueco para la batería AA en varias de las piezas es muy estrecho, se atoran demasiado al punto q tuve q usar pinzas para tratar de extraer la batería. Le haré modificaciones para un correcto funcionamiento.
