Thought I was ordering LEGO and this arrived in a very overdone taped box. I left it in there to wrap for Christmas. Then found I'd bought a knockoff outside of the return window. Shame on me.

I love most everything about this except for a few things. The first thing is I was missing a few pieces for some parts to build it but it didn’t really effect the build. I could still complete it without it being effected. The engines should definitely be more sturdy because the slightest tap against them will knock the bigger engines off, that’s the main big grievance I have with it. Also I had to move the back magnets that held the bottom together so that the tecknic could actually fit inside the tecnic holes. For the most part most all the parts were in the correct baggies and I opened them up from 1-12. The instructions sometimes were very unclear. At one point it would tell me to build it a certain way but then when I got to putting it together on the actual ship it woudlnt go together and ont he picture the part that it originally had me put on was not shown to be there anymore. Also there was parts that got put together that didn’t really make sense to have there. Such as the cross rods in some places. They didn’t belong there and served no purpose just a wasted piece. There are some spots that can be filled with flat pieces a little better so it’s not huge holes, But all in all it’s a very lovely piece and catches the eye with how big it is.

Just got mine in, and happy to see in came in a week early. I was a little nervous with the purchase because of the low reviews, but Lego builders on reddit seamed to like the quality of this model #, so I decided to give it a go. The product arrived in its own official box, and comes in 2 separate box #'s. The only issue I had is the box didn't come in a shipping box, but was just taped for water proofing. The Lego pieces did come in neat easy to read numbered bags, and the booklet is very nice and easy to understand. The quality of the bricks is also very nice. I cant wait to finish building it, so I may update my review later, but so far so good. I finished the build and must say. I love the end result. I think I was missing 6 pieces overall. Which was no big deal because I had them same ones lying around, and I did have to take some creative liberty to clean up the panels a bit, but for what it is. I am more than pleased. Especially with the lower cost to Lego.

I had gotten to starting building the endings, and i was missing a lot of beams and some flat plates, i checked the other bags just to make sure that they weren't in a different bag but in the end i had to have them send me a specific amount of pieces. I then continued to build it and got to building the main panels for the bottom, and i began to run out of pieces again. I did use some actual Lego bran pieces to fill in the gap, but i don't recommend buying this one, just wait until LEGO makes one or buy the pieces on brick link.

I’ve had multiple pieces missing to the point it’s taken me 3 months to complete this build. And still it’s not completely built due to the last step having the wrong pieces. 0/10 do not recommend this product for purchase.
