I needed these to apply ointment to a bad burn. They work great, but, I only used 2" of the stick, so I went through a whole box in no time. I wish these were available in a shorter version. Knowing that these are sterile was peace of mind dealing with keeping a burn clean to heal.

Was instructed to use a sterile tongue depressor to apply burn ointment. Try to find them in the stores. You won't. Ended up using a plastic spoon. And these are made in America, sterile, individually wrapped. Very smooth clean white wood. Everyone should have some in their medicine chest because you won't find these at the drug store. You can use them for tongue depressors too. Being US made, sterile, you cant go wrong. Very happy with purchase
