Perfect family game. My kids are 4, 6 and 8 years old and absolutely love this game. Very easy to learn. My 4 year old needs help from time to time but can recognize the characters and what the cards mean without knowing how to read. We bring it on all of our family trips - easy to travel with.

Never having played Exploding Kittens we didn't know what to expect. This is a fun game that doesn't require much concentration. We have to refer to the rules when we don't play in a while, but it's easy to pick up what to do after we review them quickly. The illustrations on the cards are hilarious - take the time to really look at them.

Exploding minions is a great family game. so much fun

If you're looking for a game that's quick to learn and guarantees some serious laughs (and maybe a little friendly yelling), this is it. We are big fans of the original Exploding Kittens, and the Minions version is a perfect family-friendly twist. The rules are super simple: draw cards and don't draw the Exploding Minion! If you do, you're out, unless you have a Defuse card—which in this version means distracting the Minion with things like bananas or a fire hydrant. The best part is the artwork. The Minions illustrations are absolutely hilarious, and the action cards like 'See the Future' and 'Attack' let you be strategically ruthless with your friends and family. The longer you play, the higher the tension gets, as the deck shrinks and everyone tries to force the bomb on the next person. It plays in about 15 minutes, so it’s easy to squeeze in a few rounds without a huge commitment. Great for ages 7 and up—highly recommend!

My family and I absolutely love this game! We started with exploding kittens and when we saw this when we had to buy it. We play it frequently as a teacher. I love it because it promotes creative thinking in strategizing skills. It takes a time or two to fully understand the game and remember how to play but after one or two games it’s very easy to follow along. As an adult I love it and would play with other adults, but it’s also great for the kids, my seven-year-old is a pro and has actually beat us quite a few times my five-year-old is also getting the hang of it now. The whole family enjoys it. It’s one of our go to for game night. Great value for the money and solid durability.

Fun game but the instructions are confusing.

We love this game! It was given to my son and we liked it so much that we bought one for a cousin! Super easy to learn, any age can play. Game play time can be really quick too, like 10-15 minutes or sometimes less. Great for at home or travel. Well worth the price.
