I bought these dates to eat in the weeks leading up to labor and had about 6–8 a day with peanut butter. As a fourth-time mom, I was surprised by how quickly I dilated this time around and I truly feel like the dates helped move things along more smoothly than in my previous labors. Most of the dates were soft, sweet, and easy to eat, but a handful were on the dry and harder side. I didn’t waste them though, I chopped those up and used them in oatmeal and homemade bread, and they still added a nice natural sweetness. Overall, great for pregnancy prep and tasty enough that I’d buy again, just wish the texture was more consistent.

I purchase these for my Mom and it seems like almost everything SWEET is a winner! I guess at 94 you can enjoy anything that you want. Mom loves the taste of these and the texture is good being they are not too hard. ;-)

Really enjoy these dates. Very flavorful. They are a bit dry, but that doesn't both me. They are sweet and chewy. I keep in the refrigerator for freshness. I also am pleased they organic. A lot of great dates for the money.
