Consistent and strong power delivery
This tool truly does compete with corded tools. Limited run time aside, the tool packs a punch. I was surprised when I laid this into some steel pipe, doing some grinding for my go kart project, and the tool had a strikingly consistent power delivery. It was exciting to see this tool hold its ground better than some corded grinders I've used. Obviously laying into some steel like that will drain the battery, so make sure the other one is on the charger ready to swap.This tool isn't meant to be a super long runtime with the 6 amp hour battery, so don't raise your expectations there. That being said, the battery has a good runtime during light duty and basic cuts compared to other cordless grinders.This probably won't be a regrettable purchase.

A GRINDER THAT NAILS IT!
DeWalt pretty much nailed it with this one. Great power. Most interesting, but I couldn't find this DCG414 at Home Depot or at Lowes. The tool rep was totally puzzled when I told him that this grinder could handle both 4.5" and 6" blades/wheels. He even looked it up and couldn't find it. The price from this vendor was phenomenal as well, compared to other similar tools. You'll never beat the price of corded tools. But this one is so amazing, and rivals corded power. Couldn't resist buying it, and glad I did.

Lots of power
I was looking for a stronger/bigger grinder. I had a Porter Cable grinder and it was not up to the job. This DeWalt flexvolt is what I was looking for, it's got loads of power. One suggestion buy two more flexvolt batteries.

Great angle grinder.
Great angle grinder. This is a rugged product and the 60 VDC battery pack provides sufficient power to make this tool comparable to corded tools. I really like the fact that the 60 VDC battery pack is part of the Dewalt 20/60/120 series of tools so I can use the battery directly in my 20 VDC tools (In a 20 VDC Dewalt the 60 VDC packs provide 20 VDC with increased amp hr capacity).

Holy crap this is an awesome tool! That's all I can really say. Look at the reviews from the professionals, this is Dewalt's best tool in the 60/20V category! Used it cutting through metal for a solid 20 min straight and battery was still on 3 bars (>75%) when I was done. Very easy to change disks. The guard took me a little bit to figure out how to work. The 1-Touch and 2-Touch bar confused me a little bit, but once I really looked at it I figured out my problem and it was MY problem, not the grinders.

Great grinder until it stopped working 5 months in!
Sad to do this review at such a low rating, however, my husband is a Dewalt fan so all of his tools are Dewalt. We paid good money for this grinder for it to just stop working out of nowhere 5 months after he has had it. We live 3 hours away from a Dewalt repair facility so at this point we're just trying to figure out if this can even be fixed or if it was a HUGE waste of money!? Very disappointed! The grinder was amazing when it worked, all the other guys were quite jealous of his tool and then it just stopped working!
