I bought this product after reading the "nice" reviews. I was a bit shocked when I observed this "mild", "slow acting", "natural" product caused an allergic reaction in my husky after one scoop. He started scratching his ear and shaking his head an hour after taking this. It seemed weird because he should not have any allergies. I would recommend asking your vets before giving your pets this product.Just an update on the previous review. Maybe my pets in particular are allergic to this product. Aside from my husky, my 10 year old Chihuahua had a severe allergic reaction that night. Although her allergic reaction wasn't immediate like my husky, but was way worse. She has a tendency to develop cherry eyes under severe stress. Not only this product made her cherry eyes act up, they swell up to the size of actual cherries. Her vision was completely blocked and I had to rush her to a vet.I wouldn't even dare to give this to my cats.I definitely won't be using this product again.

Previously I had used pills, that I had to crush, for my cat. The pills were no longer available. I found this powder in my search. I'm very pleased with it. I mix it in wet food. It's easy to measure with the scoop provided. For my cat it's a daily treat. She loves it. I had never treated a pet, for fleas, year-round. About 2-3 weeks after stopping the pills it was clear she was in distress. Within 4-5 days of starting the powder my cat was clearly experiencing relief. This stuff is great. I'll buy it again.

It's too soon for me to say if it has or hasn't worked to repel fleas because I've only been giving it to my 2 cats and 2 dogs for a week but they're all eating it so far! I was worried that they wouldn't, especially my cats. I'll update this review again eventually.I stopped giving this to my pets after it ran out. Haven't bothered to buy more because although it does help keep fleas away they weren't 100% off my pets, which is what I really need right now.

I have a homeless cat that visits me daily. She is beautiful and I noticed she was pulling the hair out from both her neck area and her tail area. The fleas were following her to my door..... and I wanted to do something natural for her. I found this product and began giving it to her. It has beena month and all of her hair has grown back and she no longer has a flea entourage following her ! She is much more at peace and the majority of the pesty and nasty fleas seem to stay away. I am grateful for the product and thankful that this natural remedy has relieved this little cat of her problems. Next year - pre-flea season I will be prepared and won't let this issue get to her ! I've been using this product on my puppy since receiving it. About 2 or 3 weeks. It helps some. But I also use flee drops and flee shampoo. My puppy still has flee from going outside. I did notice a decline. But it does not completely take care of the problem. Maybe after a few more weeks of being in her system it might work better. I think a whole yard treatment would probably work best along with other products.

This does not work. My dog is 20 pounds, I gave her only 1/4th of what it called for because she started throwing up. It does not work!! A waste of your $$.

It's been over 2 weeks of everyday use and no change on our 2 miniature schnauzers :(

This product works great! I use it for my ferels - a great way to help cats you can not touch. Although it does not kill the fleas or ticks eventually they leave as they do not like it. I have noticed the cats do not scratch hardly at all anymore. Give it the 2 weeks to take effect and stay consistent. I take a batch of biscuits and coat it all with a lite coating and feed them this batch at every meal. Don't make the coating too heavy - they won't like it AND you don't want to overdose them. Grateful for this product. Quantity in jar goes a lot further than I thought. THANK YOU NuLife
