Honest and in depth review.
I'm about as new as it comes to carpentry and woodworking but I've spent quite a bit of time doing odd jobs and decided I would be better of getting a belt sander.First impreesions are good.Gives a nice fine sand to wood.The first time I tried to start it, the motor would grunt and the wheel and the belt would shunt but not move, after fiddling for a while I found if you flick the on switch and give the belt a "jump start" with your hand, it would start and continue to do so. However I would be incredibly cautious about attempting to do this as if the belt starts and your hand is still on it, I mean you're going to lose a fingertip or two.Also if this is your first time buying a belt sander as it was mine, it's pretty loud. I only feel comfortable using it in the middle of the day in the garage as it seems loud enough to cause a racket at night or in the morning.Also, I would advise placing the machine on some kind of "barrier" between the machine and the counter or desk top.Overall, for the price this seems to be a great machine for someone relatively new to woodworking or generally anyone who wants a decent belt sander for a good price.

Easy to setup and use bench grinder and sander.
This bench grinder and sander in my opinion is good value for money. It's easily set up and has all the necessary safety options. I bought a range of graded sand belts and a polisher disc as I will use it for fine finishes. Very satisfied.
