I purchased the Rawlings R9 Contour 11.5" Baseball Glove (Modified Trap-Eze Web) for my 7-year-old son, who plays both pitcher and third base, and this glove has been an excellent fit for his needs. We had the glove professionally broken in at Dick’s for $25, and then followed up with some additional hand work at home. After that, it molded beautifully to his hand, and he’s been using it with confidence ever since. It delivers excellent value and real durability—highly recommended.

I bought this for my nine year old. It broke in really quickly without being too cheap. The narrow hand opening is great for smaller players and the glove is really light. It’s no HoH or A2k but for a player who is going to continue growing and runs the risk of leaving a glove behind at a practice it’s a good purchase.
