Not Like a Typical Red Wine At All
We have recently tasted 4 different brands of Non-alc wine, and this is - by far - the one that is LEAST like a normal Cab Sav red wine.I should have read the ingredients more closely - they add a LOT of different flavors, but it ends up being odd on the nose and overpowering on the palate in terms of just tasting oak tea and vanilla - no wine taste at all. Also - it has bubbles! I wish it said somewhere that it was effervescent and we never would have tried it.If you are looking for something that closely imitates your normal glass of alcoholic red wine, this is NOT it. If you want an oak tea with a little bubbles, maybe some of you may find it refreshing. All three other brands we got were much, much better than this. I expected more from this brand since I see it advertised everywhere for NA red wine blends.

It’s better because it came from wine.
There are 2 types of ‘non alcoholic’ wine on the market as far as I can tell; non-alcoholic and de-alcoholized / alcohol removed. Surely is the latter. The big differences are a) price (this is much much more expensive than non-alc because of the vacuum distillation step they take to remove the alcohol); and b) taste. It’s the closest thing to wine I’ve found, and many ‘non alc’ brands are closer to sparkling grape juice. The other premium brand available on Amazon, Noughty, is equally good, at least in sparkling. For those who are worried about inclusion of any alcohol, at around 0.5 ABB that’s about the same as a fermented banana.Enjoy.

Vinegar!
I bought this non-alcoholic wine a few months ago. I opened it a couple weeks ago to have with my Itian dinner. It had gone bad. It had a vinegary taste to it. Looked at the label to see if there was an expiration date. I never looked for one on wine, but being non-alcoholic I figured it might have one. It said it was good until mid-2025. I buy their canned products and like them a lot, but this bottle didn't work out. Hopefully, it was a fluke.

Great Non-Alcoholic Sparkling White Option
If you taste this wine expecting champagne, you’ll likely be disappointed by the flavor, BUT… if you enjoy other sparkling wine varietals like Vino Verde (Portuguese) or Txocali (Basque region of Spain), it hits the spot.It lends itself to more citrusy notes than a traditional champagne (if you’re not familiar with the wines above, think effervescent Pinot Grigio). I’m a big fan of dry, sparkling whites, so although I feared this would be too sweet, those worries were unfounded. It’s great- tart, dry, and perfectly bubbly.Although pricier than I’d prefer for a non-alcoholic wine, I’m really pleased with it and will definitely buy it again.

Pricey Alternative To Wine
I'm doing a Dry January so ordered this as well as the Surely Rose. At almost 10 bucks a can this is not cheap. The taste is ok as far as alcoholremoved wines go. However both deliveries arrived with damaged packaging! The box was destroyed and the cans were rolling around in the mailing envelope. As this happened over the course of two separate deliveries I don't think this is an isolated incident. At this price point , you can do better with packing so the delivery arrives damaged free especially since this item is not eligible for discount. A sturdy box perhaps?

Undissolved Solids in the Can
I recently ordered this product to help me through Dry January. When drinking it, I noticed unexpected solids enter my mouth. I spit it out to find that the can included some kind of gritty chunks mixed in with the wine. My best guess is that this was undissolved cane sugar or other additives from the manufacturing process, but I can't be sure. Regardless, getting an unexpected mouthful of this stuff was enough to turn me off to this product completely. The taste was fair (outside of chunks in my mouth), but I definitely wouldn't order this again.

Great alternative
I really liked this as a substitute during dry January. The flavor and mouthfeel is of course different than red wine but we still enjoyed it. It has a relaxing property too (maybe because of the L theanine or one of the other ingredients?) so it was nice after a long day of work or while cooking dinner to take the edge off. I would purchase again!

Do not purchase this if you enjoy dry sparkling wine, Crémant, Prosecco, Cava, Champagne, etc.
This review is for the Sparkling Brut. The color and clarity are beautiful. The bubbles are plentiful. Those are the last good things I will say about this wine.It smells like dirty socks and yeast (and not the good kind of yeast... more like toe fungus yeast). It tastes like hops mixed with straw. Frankly, if it were not for the aroma, I think I could drink it - but the nose is just awful. That being said, if you enjoy craft beer, I actually think you might like this wine because it really does remind me of some fruity beers.0/10 - Would not purchase again. Would not subject my friends to it.
