OK... when can I watch Chapter 2.... that is all I have to say.

I love finding good B-scifi's. This is definitely in that category. Definitely a B but probably not low budget, this ambitious project pulls off an epic tale where many other B's have failed miserably. There's many aspects and many scenes in which one could find fault; from the acting, the cinematography, the utter lack of context the story starts you off with, the improbable alien races, some of the FX and so on. However the movie absolutely runs with no safety net and IMHO pulls it off admirably. I would actually give $5 to see the sequel. It should have been a series I think.

It was a blind buy, I also bought the first part Occupation on Bluray, check my complete review for that. For the budget level, the first is excellent, but this one is 10 times better in every aspect.Great movie, good visuals, excellent second part, the bigger budget is notorious, almost as great as independence day. The bluray has a ver good video and audio quality, no complaints.Really, a big step up in Australian movies, this is a must go movie.Latin Spanish subtitles in bluray.

Save your money and time. This was a movie that spiraled down the memories of the VHS era, all dusty on the movie rental shelf because no body rented them. This movie wasn't for me but hey there's different taste and expectations in movies and you might like it.

I have purchased and watched the movie. The movie narrative and action are all there. For those who wonder why the aliens invaded earth is because their own world was destroyed. The aliens had nothing to lose but to occupy earth. Towards the end of part one of movie Occupcation, it explains what happened in their world. Aliens as race needed to survive and earth were their target. Based on this movie, it looks like it will be another 3rd installment of the Occupation movie. The casting and special effects were awesome. It shows the total war between humans and aliens. It looks like the aliens will win this one. The movie provides a narrative to original characters who were all grown up and into the fight. This is one of the best sci-fi movies out there at present time.

I don;t blame the actors for this travesty. They tried with the direction and script they were given.The dialogue was idiotic and disjointed. There were scenes where there was a pause between different characters speaking in the same dialogue. So many cuts to another person during a dialogue where they had some rote response that did not fit the emotions of the scene, but you could tell they were directed to say it like that. It was so hard to watch this.And the there is the "Plot". I still don't know what it is maybe you can tell me?Backstory? None...Combat choreography... Laughable. Pauses so the sword strike can land on the opponents parry. The typical idiotic scenes where the monster has a cameo and everyone [pauses to appreciate the scene, even the "ferocious" monster pauses for his camera shot. It s so bad.This is not even good enough to be a cult classic. It is bad in all the wrong ways.

A movie I like, action, adventure, full sci fi go for it !

Der Film hat mich positiv überrascht ,dachte höchstens mittelmäßig ! Ist aber doch ganz Gut.Die Schauspieler machen einen ganz ordentlichen Eindruck .Die Handlung, Si/Fi von der Guten Sorte,Erinnert ein wenig an die Zukunftsvision vom Terminator ( Mich jedenfalls )Nur ohne Terminator, dafür Aliens ! Auch ganz gut !Dann bekommt man plötzlich mit, das es sich wohl nur um den ersten Teil einer größeren Geschichte handelt ? So am Ende wenn da plötzlich Chapter One zu lesen steht !Ich will wissen wie es weiter geht !
