Got these as a gag gift for one of my friends who is a built like a big teddy bear and likes to cook. Was the perfect gift as it got lots of laughs when he opened it at the B.D. party. These are really cool looking but are also functional. They actually are made of a heat resistant fabric and the thickness is pretty nice. They fit my hands which are a size large in most gloves. They are two tone colors of dark and light brown. Super cute!

These are adorable and well made. The dark brown pads are silicone. Now, when I take something out of the oven, I tell my husband I made it with my “bear” hands.

I thought these were hilarious, and they seem pretty sturdy, too. My only complaint is that the “claws” seem to always go directly into whatever food is in the pot or pan.

These mitts are awesome! Very thick and heat resistant. The pads grip the pans so they don’t slide out of your hands. The color matches as shown and I laugh every time they are used. Great gift idea but I’m keeping these for myself.

I adore these bear hands oven mitts. They cover hands and up a couple inches past my wrist. Safe insulation from the heat, and you get to feel like a cook/baker bear. The price to cuteness is right on point in my mind, if they end up being durable. I haven't washed them yet but will update with that info when that time comes.

These are cute and fun. I replaced a previous pair that got badly stained and worn. The little claws can sometimes interfere with what you're putting in or taking out of the oven. Expect to wipe the claws. The claws do not melt, and the pads are quite grippy. No fear using these. Like any oven mitt, don't get them wet. They completely lose their insulation value when wet. (Not that you would do that on purpose, but spills happen.)

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend for those rare occasions when he wants to make a quiche. Our current ‘oven mits’ were silicone ones which didn’t offer the grip required for a large quiche dish, so it was very imPAWtant to us, that whatever we bought would check the grip box at least. These mits have done this, and gave a little more. Although large, they’re flexible enough to allow grip on large or small items, there have been no instances of feeling heat through the gloves, and they give that added satisfaction of feeling like a bear whilst cooking. The bear hands look and feel very well made, I’m beary happy with my purchase!
