I picked up the TECKNET Wireless Doorbell for my home a few weeks ago, and I’m giving it a solid 5 stars. For just $9.99, it’s been a fantastic addition to my house. It solved the problem of missing visitors when I’m in the back rooms or the garage. The long range, variety of chimes, and easy setup make it a great buy, especially for the price. This doorbell is designed for home use but works well in other places like offices or classrooms. It has a 1,970-foot wireless range, which is impressive, and it’s IP65 waterproof, so it holds up fine outside in the rain. The receiver plugs into any outlet, and the button sticks onto your doorframe with adhesive. There’s no wiring needed. It comes with 60 different chimes and five volume levels, going up to 120 dB, which is loud enough for anyone to hear, even in a big house. There’s also an RGB light that flashes when the bell rings; this is handy for anyone hard of hearing. My experience with this doorbell has been great. I stuck the button outside my front door and plugged the receiver into a hallway outlet. Setup took maybe five minutes. I just peeled, stuck, plugged in, and picked a chime. I tested it from my garage, which is pretty far from the front door, and the signal came through clearly. I’ve got it set to a classic ding-dong sound, but I played around with the 60 chimes. There’s everything from basic tones to quirky ones like Christmas songs. The volume control is a nice touch. I keep it on the second-highest setting, and it’s plenty loud without being jarring. The flashing lights are subtle but noticeable, which I appreciate since my mom, who visits often, sometimes misses softer sounds. What I liked most is the range and reliability. Even with my house’s thick walls, I haven’t had any issues with the signal dropping. The price is another big win. $9.99 feels like a steal for something this functional. I also like that it remembers your settings after a power outage, so I didn’t have to reset anything when my power flickered last week. Compared to an older wired doorbell I had, this one’s much more flexible and doesn’t require dealing with electrical work. If I had to nitpick, the only thing that could be better is the chime selection process. There are so many options that cycling through them to find the one you want can take a minute, especially if you’re picky like me and want to test them all. It’s not a big deal, but it’s the only minor hassle I ran into. Overall, this doorbell is perfect for anyone needing a reliable, affordable way to never miss a visitor. It’s great for bigger homes, apartments, or even small offices. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their doorbell without spending a lot or dealing with complicated installation.

Works great and was easy to mount outside. The different volume settings mean it should work for just about anyone, and the kids love flipping through the ringtones and picking a new one every so often. BONUS: our initial unit unexpectedly stopped working after quite a while in use. TECKNET's customer service was excellent in helping us troubleshoot and after determining a fatal error with the device, they replaced the unit free of charge.

Love this doorbell!!! It is very loud, perfect for my bedroom, the lights on it are good too. The size is good, Buttons are pretty good, Very simple to do, responds almost instantly after pressing it, great quality for the price I highly recommend this doorbell

The best doorbell. Now I want to buy one for every door. It is a good looking doorbell. There is a double-sided sticker included for the outdoor doorbell. There is even a little waterproof plastic sign, with an arrow, pointing to the doorbell, and a double sided sticker is included for that, too. There are 2 receivers. Most doorbells only have one. So, we can have a receiver upstairs, and also downstairs. The doorbell lights up, in a pretty multi-colored circle, when rung. This is good for people who have hearing issues. Other doorbells that we tried would not ring when the receiver was upstairs, but this doorbell worked great. I'm so happy with it. I was quite surprised to find out that there are an endless amount of tunes to choose from, for your doorbell ringer. And each receiver can have a different tune. There are 3 buttons. One is for volume. One is to turn the visual colors off or on. One is for choosing the tune that you like. I was pretty impressed with how long the tunes are, too. Most door bells just have 3 or 4 notes. But this doorbell has quick little songs. I went through about 20 tunes, before I chose the Tchaikovsky Nutcracker Waltz because my daughter is a ballerina. The highest, of 4, volume settings is very loud, so it can be heard from other rooms, and not just the room that the receiver is in. This is so much less hassle than figuring out one of those video doorbells that require apps.

Neat item. Easy to install. Several options. Instruction manual covers everything but you'll likely need a magnifying glass to read it. I like the fact that the button/transmitter uses a standard lithium circular 1-inch "watch battery" (CR2032), which is fairly easy to obtain anywhere and lasts a very long time (about 3 years according to the manual). The receiver/bell plugs into a standard electrical outlet just about anywhere. The bell has four volume settings, so should meet about any need. And with numerous chime options, one of them is likely to fit personal tastes. The system is attractive, easy to set up (I used the simple double-sticky-tape method), hassle-free from what I can determine. Pleased with the purchase, at a reasonable price. It's not the least-expensive on Amazon, but gut-feeling told me this was the one I wanted, and that turned out to be true. As my father said: Quality is remembered long after low price is forgotten.

I just got this and it is pretty cool. Work as described and as intended. I'm using it for short term need of a doorbell for when I'm in the back room.

Sonnette sans fil très pratique avec 2 récepteurs. Je cherchais une sonnette bien audible et c'est ce que j'ai trouvé. De plus avec 2 récepteurs c'était très bien. J'avais une autre sonnette sans fil et j'ai pu la connecter avec le set de 2 récepteurs. J'ai demandé conseil chez Tecknet et les services client et technique ont donné toutes les explications pour connecter la sonnette initiale avec 3 récepteurs. C'est génial j'entends la sonnerie partout. Merci et bravo au service Tecknet pour leur amabilité et professionnalisme. Merci Amazon de vendre leur produit. Je recommande vivement.

We had a little trouble with buying similar products on here before so I wasn’t expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised! Great doorbell, easy to set up, sound is more than loud enough for us, and looks great. We have a two-story, five-bed house. We have one receiver in the kitchen at the back of the house downstairs, and one in the hallway upstairs towards the front of the property. Wherever you are in the house, you can hear it, even in parts of the garden. So far it has worked every time someone has pressed it, and both receivers go off simultaneously. It hasn’t gone off by itself and seems to be working great. The double-sided sticky that comes with it seems to be holding to the front door very well, but it also comes with a small screw attachment if that’s more suitable to you. I’m not sure if it is waterproof as our front door is sheltered, so that’s not a concern for us. Great quality for the price and so glad we bought it as we often missed people knocking when we didn’t have a bell. Some people just get a little unlucky and receive a faulty one from time to time, or a resell from returned items, and that’s happened to us in the past, so I understand the odd bad reviews. But my experience is that returns are quick and simple on here, so don’t let that put you off buying. Just check return policies before ordering just in case.
