Exactly what I wanted.
I did have some difficulties to make it work, although it came with instructions.I watched the YouTube instructions online and they explained it really fine. Now it works the way I want it.Probably going to buy a few more. It's easy to have them spread around the house and cars.

Good light once I figured out how to charge properly
My first time use of this light wasn't pleasant. I charged it facing a window in my home for 2 days thinking it was fully charged. The light didn't last long when I used it during camping. Attempting to charge it all day inside a car on the dash also failed to charge it fully. I thought this thing was broken because it couldn't hold a charge. However the return date was long past so I decided to find a fix before tossing it for good. Generally googling as well as reading manufacturer's QnA, I have learned that it's better not to charge a solar light behind a window/glass. Also a car dash in full sun gets way too hot and the product will automatically turns off charging to protect battery when temp goes too high. So this is what I do now: fully charge the light using USB (shame it's still micro USB) before the camping trip. While at camp, charge it under the sun outside, not in the car. The fact that this light has both USB and solar charging make it 4 stars. I take off the 5th star because it doesn't remember its last setting. For example, even if you want to use it in red light mode all night, you have to click through white light first. If they can fix this plus using USB C, I would rate it a solid 5 stars. It's still better than all other solar lights on the market.

Cool light, too bad it broke quickly
I was so excited to get this little camp light and loved using it for the few months it worked. Party mode was awesome! Unfortunately it just went bust and won't charge anymore, either by solar or plugging it in. Not sure what to do with a busted light now. Such a waste of money. Sad.

Doesn't charge from solar
Disappointed that it doesn't charge from solar, instead I have to use a USB cable. Otherwise, the colors, brightness adjustment, and size are great.

I’m gonna let it shine!
This is a small lamp, fits in your hand. It is sturdy, feels durable, and the clip and wire stand are great touches, totally improve usefulness. This is a great light, makes a great gift at a reasonable price, and is perfect for active use or for a rainy day when the lights go out.I’m actually going to,order a few more to have on hand, just in case

Great camp light
Great little tool for camping.Keep mine on window ledge to keep charged on living room, also serves as emergency torch in case of blackout. One criticism would be the non-replaceable battery. Biolite are a cool, green company but none of their products have user replaceable batteries.

Just won't work - expensive paperweight
I stored the item for 4 months before using (so no refund) and always follow the instructions - nope, no way, no how was I able to get light from this $35 lump of electronic recycling.

Scratched but works
Like the light but packaging was beat up and light maybe used as lens is all scratched.
