This is the real deal. It holds my molding on my door panel VERY solidly! One roll might do two doors depending on the length of the door. You'll definitely need 2 rolls if you're doing the trim on 4 doors. Works and holds with no sign of wanting to come off.

This is my go-to double sided tape for everything, not just car related DIY. Every double sided tape that comes with accessories always tend to become weak over time.

Used this to mount some outdoor motion lights to aluminum siding near my back entrance. Waited for warm weather to do the job. Seems to be holding well so far.

Got this for my vehicle to secure some things on the interior. I live in San Antonio, Texas and we get hot, REALLY hot in the summer. Many double sided tapes just can’t perform in this heat. 3M, as trusted name, should do the trick. It is winter time here so I reallycan’t comment on its performance in the heat, but I most certainly will, and update this review with my experience. Therefore, for now, I rate this tape 4/5. If it ever fails, my updated review will be promulgated.

Used this to attach a small spoiler to the trunk lid of my Honda. I found it sticks very well but I would recommend a couple of procedures as prep for best results. I lightly sanded the contact area of the spoiler to make the surface a little more "grippy" I then used an alcohol wipe on both surfaces making sure both areas are clean. After applying the tape to the inside of the spoiler and peeling off the orange top plastic I used a hair dryer to heat the tape for better adhesion. But be careful,heating the tape makes it pretty gooey and less forgiving if you need to keep lifting and repositioning what you're mounting.

Used this 3M auto tape to reattach an emblem on my Toyota 4Runner, and it’s been holding strong ever since. It stuck perfectly and hasn’t budged, even through washes and weather. What I really appreciate is that if I ever need to remove or replace the emblem, it won’t wreck the paint. Solid product--does the job right without the hassle, just a little trimming to size.

Did I have any idea that the cars side mirror glass piece could just fall off? No I did not. when I went on the Internet was I very surprised that the suggestion was just to get this tape? yes, I was. Did it work? absolutely.How this tape is working better than the automotive adhesive Audi used at the manufacturer is beyond me. Very easy to use, and cheap!
