I didn't unfortunately get it at its current discounted rate but this item is great! I couldn't find a mat that fit the dimensions of my desk when shopping in person but Avnour had the perfect fit for me! The mat is entirely transparent with some texture on the underneath surface to hold it in place, I've got marker on it already and it came off relatively easily. It took a while to get it flush with the desk but all it took were some heavy items and leaving it alone for a few days to do the trick. The surface is not mouse compatible but the company was kind enough to include a black mouse pad (9in/7.5in) with the purchase. The mouse pad moves on the surface of my desk but not on the mat which is nice.

I've only had this for a few weeks. I was nervous after reading reviews that since it come rolled up that it would not lay flat on my desk. I rolled it out and placed a few heavier things on the ends for a day or so and it laid out perfectly. It doesn't slide super easy which is perfect for me. When you write on it, it does not indent or leave marks. I have my laptop on a metallic stand and have had no issues with heat or impression. I'm really happy and impressed so far.

I am EXTREMELY happy with this desk pad. It not only looks very nice, I’ve had no problems with it.The seller states in the description that the textured/frosted design of the desk pad provides an anti-slip surface. It, therefore, stands to reason that the textured side is to be placed face down. I placed my pad on a wooden surface and there was no slipping around. (Placing the smooth surface down resulted in slippage.)The pad comes rolled up with the textured side facing the center. When laid out with the textured side down, there is no way that the corners of the pad could roll up and therefore need to be held down with weights. (The reviewers who had this problem must have chosen to have the textured surface on top.) It’s true that my pad didn’t lay perfectly flat in the center, initially. But with items placed on it for a few hours, it was perfectly flat on its own.The smooth surface on top makes for easy cleaning.

I bought two for my L shaped desk. My optical mouse works fine on this on top of a white desktop. I have key reference docs under the other one. The ink hasn’t transferred at all. My only complaint is that they slide around pretty easily.

I was a little hesitant to order a desk mat without being able to feel how thick or pliable it is but this one did not disappoint. Great quality, perfect thickness and it laid flat very quickly. Great buy!

The media could not be loaded.  It shipped in a cylinder. I laid it between the mattress and box spring for a week to flattened.A week later I laid it out on my desk. At first I thought I only needed to hold down the four corners for it to conform to the area...Two months later I'm still having to not only hold down the corners but around the entire perimeter of it 😔Thr product is NOT a complete disappointment just a bit disheartening

I purchased this, initially, because I’d gotten a pretty, rustic looking desk, but it didn’t have a smooth writing surface. I bought this to protect the desk and give a smooth surface. It’s perfect. I’ve since bought another for a similar purpose in another space.

I found that it was rolled up in the box....had to turn it over to roll again to lay flat. One bug a boo is that a small section was folded and then rolled....a royal pain to make it lay flat. It would be better if if it was rolled in one direction...no folds in it.I've had to tape all four sides down (for now) to get it to lay flat.
