Right angle MIPT fittings adapt softener drain line to air gap
These are a good quality barbed fitting that I used adapt my water softener drain line to an air gap as required by code. The fitting is attached to the water softener drain line under my deck and close to the house. Make sure that the drain line has adequate pitch to empty once the water softener back-flush completes. This will prevent winter freeze-up.
